Gotta have the right mulch. As a gardener, I thought you might be one to appreciate that.

I was reading his goodbye and thanks tweet.

Didn't read why he was booted, though. Was there a reason?

Mulch isn’t really a factor in the type of gardening I do..

Just bought an indoor countertop indoor hydroponic gardening system. Comes with pods that have seeds and nutrients in little Kuerig coffee type pods. You put them in, fill the system with a months’ worth of water, turn it on. It sets up the lighting, 16 hours on and 8 off. Since it’s all so close together it uses hardly any energy - $7/year.

I have basil, lettuce and mini tomatoes. Three weeks to sprout, I think and two or three to produce and then two or three months of whatever.

Nice looking outfit. Since tomato plants are poisonous for cats, it’s in basement but next batch will be on kitchen counter.

Nice, easy way to get year round supply of herbs and some small veggies - if it works.

Glad you paid attention to the guitar work on that track, among the best recorded guitar pieces ever IMO.

Kind of disheartening to hear that Clapton joining Van Morrison on some anti-lockdown songs (I think specifically as it relates to live music). Morrison has been on the kick for a bit with songs like Born to be Free and As I Walked Out but Clapton is joining him on a new one Stand and Deliver or “I Caught the Covid but did not eat at Applebee’s “

Clapton and Van Morrison are talented musicians and song writers (well Clapton was once upon a time, Van Morrison might still be), don't mean they're rocket scientists.

I agree with some measure of perspective. Many of the great musicans from the early days of 60's/70's especially are near the end of their feasible touring days. For example, I had tickets to see Ringo Starr and his All Star Band and was going to take my 16 year old son. Show was cancelled due to covid - Starr just turned 80. The chances of my son ever seeing him live became very slim. Clapton is still very good live, I saw Van Morrison a couple of years ago and he still put on a great show. Excellent voice and sax. While I agree with safety, we are missing some good stuff for sure. Here's one of my favorite (live but no audience) pieces. This was the standard encore piece for the band throughout most of the 70's (saw them do it twice in those early days)

Of course we are but if you have a platform to push to do something, push to support the artists and the venues that are hurting, don’t push medically irresponsible causes especially if you’re rich enough to tske care of yourself.

It’s funny how kids puck up musical stuff. My son (27) obviously has a range of interests of things I don’t know that well but we have lots that overlap and we’ve shared lots of great shows. But some of his favourite musicians are things of my generation but not necessarily specific artists that I dug as much as he does. His favourite by far is Otis and I’ve actually come to be a bigger fan through him.

Canadian acceptance in taking vaccine by party. Good news is People’s Party and to lesser extent, Conservatives may just Covid themselves out of existence.

yeah lets trade a young 30-goal forward for a benched blueliner with negative value. Sounds legit.

You won't have to worry about that for a while.

Canada will end up behind much of the world in vaccinations.

It’s cute when you pretend to know what you’re talking about. Gallup usually polls better 1,000 and 1,500 depending on the poll (sometimes less if they’re tracking a specific thing). Leger usually polls about 1,500.
