There's no question Voracek will be exposed, especially if Laughton is re-signed. Now whether Seattle takes the big contract is another story, but I expect JvR and V on the Flyers after this season.

Ghost on the other hand, whether he has a bounce back year I expect him to be traded, but the returning value is the biggest question.

Would hate to lose NAK, but the Flyers have at least 4 that can take his place without blinking. Maybe Seattle takes Morin if he comes back healthy and looks decent...

I also think Voracek should and will be exposed.

Possibly the worst pick Seattle could take. You suck. Do you even watch hockey?

Do you? NAK was far and away the Flyers best forechecker this past season.

And while I don't agree he would be the pick, and as the Flyers, I would leave Voracek exposed, he is not a bad pick. They do have to build a full roster including 3rd and 4th liners. Certainly more band for the buck than Hagg or Ghost.

I am thinking Voracek, if left exposed, may be the guy they choose. Maybe even JVR.

Ghost Bear was on pace for 10 goals and ~30 points despite third pairing duties, with a corsi over 50%.

Sure he is flawed, sure he is mostly offense, and sure his 17 goal season is a fluke. But there is simply no way he gets exposed and not taken...especially for a replacement level player.

He will likely get traded for decent value, or if he gets exposed, he is one of the few sure bets that Francis will pencil in to his top 4.

I simply don’t get the Ghost Bear bashing and hope Fletcher feels the same way and sells him for pennies to the coyotes!!

Just curious who the 4 are who can replace him.

How many games did nak play? Best forechecker on weak flyers team... that’s not saying much for flyers. And not to mention the league has changed it’s no longer about this heavy forecheck. It’s about speed and prettyness. Right or wrong. There’s very little forecheck anymore and the forecheck there is is more about position and strategy not physicalness. Nak at best is a 4 th line plug. Their a dime a dozen. Laughton is the pick. 3rd liner who you can sign or move for asset if you want.

You don't have to go back eight years. Giroux is only two seasons removed from his career-best 102-point season. Also, he had 18 points in the last 15 games before the COVID stoppage this past season, although he didn't have a good playoff.

The tank isn't empty.
