I think that color scheme sorta worked based on it's geographical location. I'm ok with certain regions sort of having an identity, just like I think it's kinda cool Pittsburgh has teams with all the same team colors. I think we both agree those jerseys are super ugly, but if you are going to bring it back, just go all out. - 2sticks1puck
Pittsburgh teams all sharing Black and Gold is kinda cool. Don’t much care for their reverse’s, however, but not because they’re ugly. They’re just boring. Classic and clean is one thing. That I often like. But this is just dull.
Arizona? Now that’s ugly. Yeah, that Teal and Sonoma Red thing with a tacky and crude coyote cartoon face. No thanks. The present coyote is FAR better.
I’m diggin the Wild and Avs/Nords the most.

the Nords jerseys are just gorgeous though they always were
I would have thought the Rockies would have been cool though - jimbro83
For sure agree on both points.
I know most of you guys love the Lady Liberty ones and they aren't bad, but I think they are a miss. We are an original six team. The others went old school and are pretty cool, I think. The Red Wings are dull, but that was basically what they wore for quite a while. I would have liked a play on our jersey's from way back or maybe from Davidson years. |

I feel like there's be bit of a clamoring for Liberty jersey's to come back
I would have personally loved the Davidson era one's but I think there'd be a lot more complaining if they ddnt do Liberty |

Hank has told a Swedish newspaper he will return to the Rangers in some front office capacity probably after next season. Also, his family will stay in New York this year while he plays in DC. |

I know I am the minority but I just dont like the lady liberty jersey. To me its as bad as the Isles fish sticks jersey or the saber slug.

This is an INCREDIBLY bad take
What is it about the Statue of Liberty you don't like?
Edit: I realize this post is a bit pretentious. I meant this more as a joke. You are totally allowed to have your poopty opinion |

Lol
I read "What is it about the Statue of Liberty you don't like?" like it was said by Tommy from Goodfellas for some reason. It makes it way better!!
(probably 'cause the wife had it on the TV while she did school work yesterday) |

it's crazy that Los Angeles isnt offer sheeting one of the big remaining RFA's
they have loads of picks, loads of cap space, no prominent RFA of their own coming up soon for a new contract and some big money coming off in a couple of years in Brown and Carter
absolutely no reason they shouldn't be after Sergachev, Barzal or even Dubois hard right now |

I'm surprised you don't know the answer to that
It's called collusion. Who was the last big time RA signed due to an offer sheet? And Aho was also collusion, between Canes and Habs. |

yep, the only explanation for Tampa not to be raided right now is that Bettman and the owners have a gentleman's agreement
if I was a Kings fan I'd be going nuts

It's unlikely but I was reading some stuff some owners think they would save more money by not playing at all next year. I doubt they would cancel but the longer it goes without them announcing a start date the more I feel its less likely. |

So almost every blogger has a retro blog. Likely coincidentally but I feel like Ek got a push from Adidas to have a bunch of articles on them... |

Listening to NHL radio yesterday, I heard the same thing. There is a group of owners who do not want to play this season without fans. So, it's real. On the NHLPA side, players have very little enthusiasm for playing an extended period in a bubble, and pro rated salaries. I'm hoping it's all part of a negotiation which will need to take place in order to get this season going. |
