Not ideal or easy the 3 teams trade list, but Burns' contract is movable. After this season, his cap hit is fairly high, but his actual salary is not too bad (good for a cheapskate owner). He is only one year removed from an 83 point season and I'm pretty sure he has a few good years left in him.

No movement/no trade deals could make things difficult, but if the team has another poop bad horrible season or two, there's an increased chance guys waive those clauses.

Well, except.... Vlassic's deal is immovable. And not sure about Karlssons. Burns, Courture and Kane, if they chose to wave those likely could get dealt)

Yes the Karlson contract pretty much screwed the Sharks. I don't this one at all, it hamstrung the Sharks and the result of last season is what we have to expect for a while.
