I am definitely happy with THIS PICK, and the whole draft! Maybe the best overall draft for the Canes EVER! If you investigate what all the experts /analysts (on drafting) had in their Mock drafts you will find five of the Canes picks mentioned in their 1st round! ...and Nikishin was in the 2nd round or 3rd mostly! An incredibly great job by the CANES!

I think every mock draft I saw had Jarvis going right where you guys got him

very good pick, smart not to go off the board

but, nobody had him ranked in the top 10, you guys got him where everyone figured he would go

I think more surprising Lundell lasted until 12
BINGO!

The knocks on Jarvis are his size (He's 5'11) and his skating, which is only just okay.

You can improve your skating. His compete level and skill level are both extremely high.

His NHLe number in his draft year was 42. The last two WHL players to hit numbers over 40 in their draft year were Sam Reinhart and Leon Draisaitl.

If he was 6'3 he would have been a top 5 pick in the draft.
