Not that he gets selected but why would they protect Kessel? |

Does Kessel have a NMC or NTC?
May have to protect him |

So that the state of Arizona does not get overrun by hot dogs.
Removing a predator from a fragile ecosystem can be just as damaging as introducing a new one. |

Sunk cost fallacy. |

Considering how Arizona is with money they could even choose to protect Hill over Keumper (in which case selecting a goalie still makes a lot of sense). |

Hey Sean. I’m submitting for Carolina. Where do I send my protection list? |

From Anaheim you passed on Shattenkirk, I’d then seriously would grab Gologoski then. Yeah he’s 32 but can still produce and is a qb on point. Almost every team is going to expose a young goalie that you can choose from. Yeah he had a decent save percentage but (I haven’t really seen him play much) you have to gather the teams he played against weren’t of the strongest teams. If you don’t like Gologoski here then it should be Raanta. As yeah of the goalies you will see exposed I don’t think you’ll find one much more capable than him and most likely you’ll have a better crop of players to choose from from that team. |

Not surprising the Yotes don't really have much to offer. The fact that they don't have a D-Man to expose isn't really a huge deal. We saw last times many teams signing players to leave exposed...like Calgary did with Tim Mccollum in the Vegas Expansion.
I like the Adin Hill pick. Not because I think he will be the starter, but he could fill in nicely as the 3rd goalie, get the majority of starts in the minors and slot into the NHL as a backup during injury with the hopes of him taking steps forward. They can't just pick NHLers as they don't have enough roster space. |

he's a UFA after the season, they can just sign him if they like him

Hill would be the smart pick amongst those slim options. I missed the Ducks one, but you selected Henrique? Pretty sure he is un-tradable given his current contract. - bikeguy99
I like the Henrique pick. This is a really tough way to pick a team, going alphabetical not knowing all players at all positions exposed. Henrique is expensive, but he is a really solid piece to build on. |
