As a Kings fan, I echo that sentiment.

congrats on getting Drysdale. After getting to watch him here in Erie, I think he's going to end up as a Dougie Hamilton/ John Carlson type. Defensively, he made it look very easy against CHL competition, but that doesn't always translate up

I have been an advocate for drysdale since the juniors where I thought that despite his limited opportunity he looked like Canada’s best D when he had the puck on his stick.

The cale makar comparisons I would say are well earned. I think the difference lies in drysdale’s ceiling not being as high but he will be nhl ready earlier.

With the exception of me having Sanderson in the 8-10 range I would still say I’m not surprised he went 6th but two years from now this could easily look like Detroit & Arizona passing on Hughes. As a Calgary I had a real bad feeling watching him they’re that ducks jersey on.

As far as Perrault goes he’s a huge risk/reward pick as he does have natural goal scoring talent. If you can get him to refine the rest of his game it may work out but it could easily wind up like Ho-sang or sprong. But with 2 picks in the first round this could be a gamble worth it for the ducks

Can you imagine, stick save made by Gibson - Drysdale grabs the puck in the corner and wheels it out of the zone - passes to Zegras who does a backflip while holding the puck lacross-style then flings it over to Perreault - Puck somehow lands flat and Perreault slams it home.
The perfect play - literally unstoppable
