To the surprise of absolutely no one. Senator fans everywhere are disappointed. |

Eh. Sounds like he has a lot of work ahead of him to get to the NHL level he is said to capable of. Shot is good, skating is good, but playmaking and defense needs a lot of work while his vision needs work but is improving. Also not a fan of the Kings drafting a guy at #2 that is a project instead of ready for the show. I wasn’t to happy Turcotte was drafted so high to go to college but that’s just me. But like all draft picks we will wait and see, just hopefully it’s this season and not 2-3 years out. |

Aside from Lafreniere and maybe Rossi, the consensus was that there weren't any other players that were NHL ready. Both Byfield and Stutzle need an additional year of development. |

Yep, still not happy with that. It’s why people care much more about the NFL and NBA drafts. You get to see the guys drafted then you get to watch them play. Not a fan of waiting to see if you drafted a guy that can play in the NHL or if you just never see him again. But oh well, I guess we’ll just have to see in a couple years if he’s a a replacement for Carter\Kopi or if he’s the next player stay in Ontario or is traded down the line. |

Its a good pick. They can afford to wait a year or 2 during the rebuild for him to be fully NHL ready and not rush the kid. Kings got a fantastic player. Congrats. |
