Jeff Gorton says he'll "always take the calls" on the No. 1 pick, but #NYR is focused on making the pick right now.

Such an odd thing to be allergic to

I ate a whole fresh one in one sitting. The next two days I felt like I had battery acid in my intestines and couldn't poop right for a week.

Ever since then, if I try to eat it i get the worst (frank)ing pain in my insides.

Rule number 1 of being a GM, never show weakness. Argue that your pick is way better than his

That's the thing, it's not a tree like I assumed as well. It just looks like a "bush" or kind of like agave.

Thanks again Jan for doing this and including me. It was good to research all these prospects.

I just hope the Rangers make picks and don't trade them away. There will be some really good players to come out of this draft from the 20 to 65-75 range.

Every draft, there are players that inexplicably rise and fall into unexpected slots. Gunler could easily be one of those guys that go in the top twenty. Solid pick!

basically the biggest thing I get from the reporters call with Jeff Gorton this morning and they are looking for a veteran on LD to replace the hole left by Staal

Lias Andersson has been suspended 5 games for a head shot delivered in his last game.

I just hope they play this well by signing a couple of guys to 1 year contracts. The first priority is to improve the team for this season, but if they're 15 points out at the deadline, they can flip these guys for picks and play someone like Tarmo, Hajek, etc.

Anyone have any realistic ideas on who they could be targeting?
