I think Dubas replacing McElhinney with Sparks is what pissed Babs off the most. But that's just my guess. Babs and Dubas were never on the same page.

WITHOUT considering the contracts -- Bobrovskiy is a much better goalie than Andersen. He's had a bad season on a team that doesn't want to spend to get better (Barkov and Huberdeau must be keen to get out of Florida)

And while he is better than Andersen overall, his contract goes until he' s38 and makes 10 million per. It's an absolute franchise killer given their financial woes.

I also don't think they have the $ to spend 6 million on a coach. That will affect their roster.
