This is the first time I've heard of the "counter-attack factor" . I noticed Columbus and NYI were the "counter-attack team" against Tampa and that didn't work. Arizona's counter-attack didn't work against Nashville. Oh well.

I would also add the revenge factor. Tampa is looking for revenge from previous playoff defeats. Tampa also has home ice for piped-in music and fan noise.

I don’t care who wins. I just want it to be over. Hockey in the summer is tough to justify watching, even for a religious fan. Hand the Cup to Tampa, give the Conn Smyth to Stamkos (because nothing in 2020 follows logic), and move towards the draft so I can see what the Jets are going to do. I want DeMelo back on D, and a top-4 UFA (not pricey Pietrangelo). Then move on to the center issue, and put to rest the rumours that Laine/Ehlers are available. We need a Center between them! Ehlers is fantastic value, and Laine only moves next offseason if he’s getting too greedy. If Stastny is available again, maybe that comes back to the forefront.

Anyhow, let’s see Tampa finish it off quickly. Maybe 5 games.
