At what cost Stamkos for the Sabres?

Kevyn Adams would likely have to trade 2017 eighth overall pick Casey Mittlestadt and 2021 second round draft choice

😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱

Unbelievable

Stamkos has a full No Movement Clause. He agreed to a "hometown discount" so the Bolts could sign other stars and because in Florida he is NOT taxed as much as anywhere else. Why should he agree to lose millions by accepting a trade? If the Bolts want him gone he should make them buy him out!

A bit pre-mature to write off the Stars entirely. β€œwhen the Bolts win the cup.” Lol.

Hilarious.

Stamkos is the face of the franchise. He's not going anywhere.

Yes, there will be some cap casualties, but Stamkos won't be one of them.

Talk about the most 2020 thing ever! Stamkos can be a spectator but he cannot play in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Pandemic, civil unrest, apocalyptic fires, Tampa winning the Cup without Stamkos: these are the things I will remember most about 2020.

Did you feel that way about lecav though? He was the face of the franchise beforehand and while yes he was no where near the player he was, he was a casualty as well.

If this had an inkling of truth and they buy him out, Gorton better grab him instantly!

Did James Tanner find himself a different pseudonym? Or is this more of a Richard Cloutier style of click-bait?

Stamkos to Buffalo?

What does Buffalo have to offer besides Eichel?

A fistful if firsts?

Not unless they also get a signed knock-off Buffalo head jersey from alumni night.

True, but Vinny's contract was not nearly as team-friendly as Stammer's. And Vinny was further into decline by that time, compared to Stamkos.

We were actually talking about this in another thread recently. Personally, I like Stamkos, but if I was the GM, I would entertain offers. I wouldn't be shopping him or making it a priority to trade him, but if another GM made me an offer I couldn't refuse, then I would do it.

Stamkos still adds a lot of value to the team when he's healthy. But, decline is right around the corner and it might be wise to cut bait while his stock his still high. Like I said though, I wouldn't be in a hurry to do it and it would take a killer offer.

Make no mistake though, Point is now the 1C on this team for the future.

I feel like it's a no-brainer. Move Stamkos now for high-end futures. Your younger guys are ready.

I like the idea. The no move clause hurts. Return seems about right maybe add the rights to Pilut. Staal will report but making him a 3rd line center would make us a powerhouse at center with Stamkos as 2c. It’s a nice dream
