Anthony Travalgia: That’s one you got to steal The Lightning were the better team in Game 2 Tuesday, but that's one the Bruins needed to find a way to steal.

Only a Bruins fan would watch a game where their team was pretty clearly outplayed for most of the night against one of the best teams in the league, up 1-0 in the series and say “that’s one we needed to win”...

It’s a compliment to the Bruins as a team because they’ve consistently been able to win games like that over the years.

Only a Leafs fan could not understand the lack of urgency to win a tight game in a playoff series against one of the best teams in the league. Loser.

EDIT: In case you were not paying attention Tampa's top defender was out of lineup, which was something Boston should've capitalized on. (frank)ing jack ass.

That is the point. They were outplayed most of the night and still one bounce away from being up 2-0. That is the type of game you want to steal. Also, now you have a back to back with Halak who hasn't had to play this much in years... no idea how fresh he will be tonight

I really doubt we'll see that kind of sloppiness from the Bruins tonight. Way too proud and well coached of a team to let that happen twice in a row.

All that said, this is the first Bolts team since the 2011 one that doesn't drive me up the wall 1/3 of the game due to over-reliance on skill.

I just hope it doesn't end the way 2011 did

Krug is not playing like a guy looking to get a new contract.

Haha it was a joke/compliment, the Bruins have been so good over the years pulling out wins against very good teams where maybe they weren’t having their best game, that it’s been become expected.

As a Leaf fan I’d just be happy they tied it...

😂

I couldn't agree more! He made one good defensive play last night...the rest of the time was a non-factor or worse. Since he bulked up over the last couple of years he has slowed to the point of being a bigger liability than his small size. He's slow, his quick release shot from the point is gone... Don't get me wrong, still has good hockey IQ and can make great passes (less often now-a-days), but he isn't showing enough to earn a huge paycheck.

Don't get me wrong, I like Krug and I hope we can keep him for a reasonable price and more importantly reasonable term. I still think at this point there is more upside than downside but I suspect that is going to change quickly as he will be on the wrong side of 30 next season (or next post season) and will only continue to slow down and loose even more quickness.

Not the same, I stated what happened you wanted kuch injured. A better response would have been Vasilevskiy is wussy whipped and will go home and put on an apron. But so far our stater is still playing.

I'm not going down the path of a Leaf's fan....we didn't play well enough to win (obviously!). Not sure of the personnel moves made by Bruce...plenty of options on defensemen to pull but pulling the one guy that has done anything in this series??? Feel free to sit some of the dead weight on the back end...take your pick. And why pull Sean? Primary assist on the tying goal....why not Case, JD,? I feel sorry for our goalies...half of Halak's goals against have been off our players or sticks.

Not blaming the officials at all, but that weak call and terrible positioning by the linesman only helped set the table at the comedy club tonight. Definitely a slash. Consistent? Nope.
