Just put the puck on the net - who knows what will happen.

I don't think it was 'just throw the puck to the net'

I think it was a very smart play by Bergeron:

He used his head to fake the pass around the board. He even slowed down his body to make it seem like he was wasting the last few seconds and had given up. He sold it so well, the goaltender bit. I think it was his plan all along.

I agree in this case.

But it's a good general policy to have. Many times I see them getting too cute with forced passes and then it's a 2-on-1 or a breakaway going the other way.
Just shoot the damn puck.

Looks like it's gone be Tampa next round unless Habs have a mighty comeback. Gonna need Debrusk to play better. He is streaky and looked better after he scored 2 goals. He had a little more confidence and it showed in his play. Kase played well ,needs to finish on some of those chances. Krejci is always the key playoff time. If he gets his line going Bruins have a legitimate shot. Of course goaltending usually tells the story. Can't have any games where you give up soft goals if you expect to beat Tampa.
It will be physical so bruins better put their big boy boots on. Wish Ritchie finds his game. He would be useful against Tampa.
