I’m out of the loop with games now. I’d have no idea how to play

It always was a no brainer decision. I remember buying into the night before when reports had the Islanders got him. I was big time angry

I read somewhere that if the Rangers won the play in round and the Islanders lost, that would of been their lottery ball for the first pick. The balls were in alphabetical order so replace Florida with Carolina and the Rangers with the Isalnders, same setup.

Those were the best 3-4 losses of all time. Wonderful, amazing losses

The metro is finally turning from Pitt and Wash running things, to the new teams like isles flyers canes and rangers being the lead dogs. Should a fun 10-15 years! Really the whole East conference because the windows are closing in Boston and TB

Before we get into all this trading and signing stuff we need reconciliation on whats happening with Henrik. His retirement is essentially all we really need to solve our financial restrictions. Also with an indeterminate length of this flat cap we cant get ahead of ourselves and start getting trigger happy.

True that! And how sweet it will be to watch Pittsburgh circle the drain. Over time, they replaced Philly as my most loathed adversary.

It's why I shake my head when i keep seeing and reading articles how they should look to trade the pick. There is a reason everyone is so pumped we won this lottery. LAF is going to be a franchise changer for us.

Ryan Strome, eh?

What reasonably would it take for the Sabres to take him off your hands?

No way in blue, red, purple, pink, or green polka-dot hell am I paying Strome $7M+ per. That chart is insane.

I did read Strome spoke to his agent and advised him he wants to stick around. Perhaps he's hinting at a bridge deal. I'd give him around $5M per, but that's an if here.

Of course he wants to stick around. He knows Panarin will carry him to a huge payday next offseason when he is a UFA
