Anthony Travalgia: “It doesn’t really feel like playoff hockey” to Tuukka Rask Tuukka Rask had some rather odd postgame comments following the Bruins loss to the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 2 Thursday night.

Comments were fine. Not ideal but also didnt say anything that wasnt true. People female dog about typical hockey responses and then they female dog about honest answers.

No more iconic duo than Bruins fans and their need to poop on Rask every year anyway.

What, exactly, does “playoff hockey” feel like?

No, seriously, I’m a Sabres fan. I don’t have a clue what it feels like.

Everyone is feeling what Rask is feeling, it's just that he's saying it out loud.

I mean, Marchand straight up disagreed a few minutes later.

You have to psych yourself up for it and try to manufacture some intensity because if your opponent does it and you don't, you're in trouble

The league did a good job in preparing the stadiums with the video boards, lighting and seat covers. They are pumping in some sound too. But it is what it is. You can't blame any of the players for how they feel about this because it is definitely not normal.

From Rask's comments, it seems to me that if the Bruins survive the first round, then they would become an even more dangerous opponent after that because, by then, conditioning-wise and mentally they would be getting back up to speed.

Now that I'm saying this, I'm wondering if something like this is going on with some of the Flyers veteran players who haven't been accomplishing a whole lot so far in their games?

when you listen to it, it really didnt sound that bad, but whats he supposed to do, cry about it? Gotta just move on. He made some great stops, Hamilton made a great shot.

the playoff seeding based on round robin games was very important

Tampa and Boston would probably rather be playing Montreal right now

I guess with your team out of it you have time to visit every Bruins thread.

You're just like the butt-hurt Vancouver fans who still have not gotten over 2011.

So how exactly does the re-seeding for round 2 work? Do round Robin teams automatically fill the upper seeds? What method is used to figure out where everyone falls out. Is it still based on where they started (it has to be...)?

I don't want either of them to win anything, either. They play some terrible hockey.

Highest seed plays lowest seed again. That's what the Round Robin was for.

No, it's boring, defensive garbage. Neither team has the talent to trade punches with the other guys so they try to get you on the mat and choke you out instead.

The biggest reason Canes hockey is so exciting is because they don't have a goalie and goals are plentiful. I totally disagree that the Isles and Jackets are boring as the 5 OT game was one of the best games I have ever seen. Just because both those teams play hard nosed tight checking hockey does not make them boring. McDavid and Draisitl are super exciting but same old same old, out in the first round.

The BJs are a great team. They play a solid sound system and have some dynamic players like Dubois and Foudy. They just know how to shut the other team down. Werenski and Jones are the best D pairing in the league imo, on both sides of the puck.

Wrong, bottom line is you know your likely to get whipped by them. I see them both winning their series because both are structured and relentless. Another factor is Holby is useless and Torts is the best coach in hockey, a true motivator and knows how to manage his assets.

Totally agree on Werenski and Jones, Dubois is a stud. Foudy has impressed with his speed and looks like a seasoned pro. But the Foligno's, Jenner, Savard etc types, the team is loaded with grit and never give up.

Nah. Come on man, it's boring garbage hockey. Not interested.

That 5 OT game was terrible to watch by the time the 3rd OT rolled around.
