I propose we fire them into the sun after their next bad period.

FFS people, we won. Yeah there can be improvements, agreed, but can we just have a page or so without griping about what didn't go well?

- jmatchett383

Definitely not. Someone has to female dog on here no matter how good we are doing

The flyers are possibly the best team in the NHL and it's not enough for some of you.

kind of amazing that the Flyers have two $7 mil plus wingers that they are having a trouble fitting into the lineup.

Cant tell if you're kidding. JVR playing about 10 min and not getting PP time. Voracek loses his spot on the first line to a rookie.

Did they find an angle that showed Voracek's stick on the puck, or was he simply closer to Byron when Byron put that sick re-direct past Price?

He played ok last night and actually shows a little chemistry with who he is playing with. But what did he do to warrant more ice time. And I’d anything. Gives us a threat on all lines.

Sure, why on earth would you do that? Gostisbehere played very well last night. He's looking like the Ghost of old.

I saw some ghost turnovers last night in he 2nd, albeit Montreal was pressing. I would like Hagg's physical presence as well.

I see last nights game as very positive. To me it wasn’t our. Eat outing but still won. Some players we usually rely on had ok games. Habs are fast. With minor adjustments it’ll be ok. And the goalies were good. That game could e been 5-4.

I’m not even a ghost fan. But I would keep him in unless he starts to regress again. Just due to his speed and being able to counter attack the speed of the habs.

Voracek was returning from injury from the prior game and was questionable. They were never going to have trouble "fitting him into the lineup", but they changed the lines based on his injury and who had been practicing together the last few days.

Niskanen and Provorov had some turnovers last night as well. Bench one of them for Hagg?

I think this argument has taken an unnecessary turn. Jvr got hurt. During the interviews before the bubble was agreed upon he admitted to only recently getting healthy and not skating much. Personally I think he's behind the rest the team. To win the cup we will need jvr to contribute at a high level. But there's something to be said about is he physically there.
- Tfaehner

I think there could be something to be said for this.

So this is what I've learned since last night's game ended.

Hayes and JvR's offensive production can never be compared because Hayes plays more defense. News to me but never stopped Hayes from leading the league in short handed goals at one point in the season.

Sean Couturier had a "dominating game" last night because he threw a couple hits around.

Giroux is making bad decisions on the power play because he keeps passing up to Ivan Provorov. Even though the power play showed signs of life in the first since forever when G set up Provy for a point shot that led to a goal.

You can't talk about where the Flyers need to improve so long as they're winning. Discuss the good, ignore the bad.

Detailed facts means you weren't watching the game last night...

You're looking at the Voracek change completely wrong.

Any defenseman who handles the puck is going to have some turnovers. We need puck skills more than physical play.

JVR is a good player. In terms of ability outside scoring goals he is underated however iwriting on the wall suggests JVR may not be in PHI future. When you look at this team JVR is already pushed down the lineup. With a healthy Lindblom, NAK probably sits for playoffs but I dont see that happening next season. It is clear that AV doesnt feel JVR fits in his system. You are probably looking at him being exposed at the Expansion Draft.
