Karine Hains: The First Goes to the Flyers The game was an advertised, tight play and a goalie battle.

Good job by the refs trying to keep it close! Great save by Price on Laughton though. That may be the save of the playoffs.

C’mon, the Habs had their share of penalties.

Great stuff, Mme. Haines.

When you're looking for penalties against your team, you'll always see em, and miss the ones your team takes. There's always missed calls and opportunities. No point in whining about it, especially when your team wins. Oh, and Hart was no slouch himself! (Directed at Phillywhiteout)

Watching how the Habs/Pens series played out I wasn't surprised how this game went. It's going to be tight every game. I agree I don't understand why you wouldn't play Domi more. Seems a waste on the fourth line on a team that needs a little more punch out there.

What I took from the highlights was that Lehkonen again had some chances while it looked like the rest of the team was adjusting

Lehky could have had 5 goals last night but he already scored this month, don't wanna overdo it

Agreed, Hart probably kept the Flyers in the game in the second period when the Habs ramped up their game a notch and the Flyers didn't match their intensity. No doubt both goalies played well!

I don't think he played a bad game, the penalty was costly

Yeah that fall on a 2 on 0 was oh so bloody annoying... but we’ve got to admit that he does try and work hard out there. He’s got 7 points in 11 career playoffs games which is a higher ratio than what he gets in the regular season. Hopefully, he finds a way to bury his chances next game.

The penalty and the fact that they got scored on during it seemed to wake him up. We seemed to be trying harder after it. He need him to always be on that level though.

very frustrating to be a Habs fan...the forwards can't score....KK and Suzuki are future/upcoming stars.....Price has been magnificent.....will the Habs win any face offs against these Flyers?...Flyers in 5 if not 4.....boo...

Tatar, Drouin and Armia have been VERY disappointing so far this summer. I am more concerned for the first two, their job is to produce offensively and they really suck (Drouin for a long time).

Hard to win games when your core does not produce.

Danault had a great night in the faceoff circle last night except for a couple on the PK in his zone.

In what way was the 2nd goal a softie by Price?

Turnover in neutral zone and quick floating shot from point that is designed for a deflection by Farabee. Price has no time to get down and anyway needs to be somewhat upright to track the puck. Farabee deflects, Price in position to stop, which is creditable. He has zero chance to control anything about the rebound. It happens to pop right in front and Farabee does the rest.

Blame goes to whoever it was that was marking Farabee then, and to the turnover.

there was no reason for Price to slide out of his crease like he did, he overplayed the shot and got caught by the deflection...I think that's what Karine is saying.

Price was spectacular last night, I am sure he would like to play the Farabee goal differently if he had the opportunity but this is a fast game and there is no time to think most of the time.

Chiarot made a bad play but Price put himself completely out of position after making the initial save... not blaming the guy but it wasn't a great goal, especially 16 tics after they had finally got on the board

Right? He was actually battling for pucks and he was directly involved in their only goal....
