Im certainly not taking you guys lightly. Price scares me.

In the end I think the Flyers depth and overall talent level prevails. BUt if they do not Match the Montreal effort they may be in for a rude awakening.

Good luck to you.

The lack of a PP worries me, but I have liked how Hart has responded to the playoffs and how the D corp has looked. Rolling forward lines has also been effective.

Hart is going to face some adversity at some point, and we'll see how he handles it. Price has the advantage as we all know. Hold your own kid. Having Moose as the backup will really help IMO as I have confidence in him too.

I won't be shocked if Montreal comes out strong and maybe even wins game 1. We saw CBJ last night vs Tampa. This will not be an easy series as the playoffs never are. I think it will be 6 games, but all very close with some OT. I am excited for this team but nervous too... it's great.

This is going to be fun, tbh when the qualifying rounds started I wasn't expecting the habs to get through the pens, and especially not the way they did it, but at this point I think they've managed to build an interesting confidence and motivation which should help a long way in beating the flyers.

I expect a hard-fought battle, so good luck to you as well, and go habs go!!

Can anyone else read those line combinations?

I’d like to know from you guys in order, what you have the most faith in when it comes to the strengths and right down to the weaknesses of this team. Mine go...

Coaching
Defense
Goaltending
Offense

This team for whatever reason reminds me of the mid to late 90’s Devils. If you remember at the time of that center group of Jason Arnott and Bobby Holik. Who the (frank) were these guys really? Sean and Kevin Hayes are known around the league as two really good players, we Arnott and Holik were but probably not super star level center. However they work hard, they’re smart, they’re best suited for their roles. Alain Vigneault really has the team working hard for him.

Hope the Isles and Caps end in regulation. Not watching an 11am start tomorrow.

Hopefully the Flyers come out playing like they are a 12 seed with nothing to lose.

Haha That shocks me. Pass the puck to Shea.. watch him put the puck through the net with a slapper.

Should be a party. It's been since 2012 that I've felt like we had a legit chance to win a round or 2 so it's a weird feeling. I usually need lots of beer to calm me down.

My concern is that the Flyers played the hardest in the round robin cause they were the new kid on the block. I mean, TB,Caps, and Bruins really had nothing to prove cause they've all been there and done that. The Flyers were looked at as having the most to prove and probably played with the most intensity. Will be interesting to see what happens when things are ramped up. I think the Flyers are a deeper team than the Habs who basically were lucky to even have a chance at the playoffs and I'm picking the Flyers in 6. Be gentle, I'm new here.

I see we have a few habs fans here already. Good luck to you guys! You'll need it....
Flyers have the better :
Coaching
Line up
D
4 scoring lines
Team colors
And of course Kevin hayes-ey

Habs have the better:
Goalie (for now)

Flyers in 5!! I think price will steal a game for you guys to avoid the sweep

Who knows. They should be hungry. What I like is that AV has had this team rolling very well not just recently, but since the new year. That tells you it's not just a fluke stretch. by my count, since Jan 8 when they returned from that horrible post Xmas road trip they went 22-6-1 which included the 3 RR games. Not too bad.

Like Howard Eskin always used to say if you’re scared get a dog.

It’s the playoffs and it will be difficult. Flyers win in 5.
