Not bad, BJs. Not bad at all. Congrats. I hate congratulating any Metro rival, but that was impressive to knock out a team with all that firepower. Especially via a shutout in the deciding game

Either Tampa still has PTSD from last year's playoffs or they will come out guns blazing to prove a point. Will be interesting to see if the cbj can pull off an elimination, not looking for a sweep here.

That being said, what stood out for me is that Korpi and Elvis have picked up where they left off, our tandem is what gave us the edge over TO. Foudy was impressive, to quote Torts '' he has balls'' , my only critique is that he doesn't pass the puck enough, at times he held on and played too much hero puck for my taste.

I see the Jackets as a dark horse cup contender. They play a tremendous team game and it is amazing how disciplined they are. Penalties against teams like Toronto and Tampa Bay will kill you and the Jackets were great in that department in game 7. Torts is the best coach in hockey and his leadership shows. The best example was Torts giving it to Dubois and woke the guy up big time. Dubois will thank him one day. Go Jackets and strike some Lighning.

Had surgery so I couldn't see some of game four and game five, but it's is great to beat the Leafs. It's also great that we have three games left with them in the regular season the CBJ didn't get to play, so both teams are not well-known to each other. Now that we have a healthy d-corps coming into this series as opposed to last year, and maybe Josh Anderson back, we can beat them again.

I'm glad we have the chance to try.

Back at you sir, I enjoy watching the Flyers and Bruins play (with one exception on the B's). good luck to your teams in their series.

What's the story and future outlook with Dubinsky and Wennberg? I'm looking at the cap breakdown for Columbus. PLD will need to be paid. Will there be a cap issue? It would be great if they could add just 1 more top 6 player. Maybe they expect Texier or Foudy to be that next season? I'm just wondering where they go from here.

They're a good team, with everyone buying in and playing hard. I honestly want both Tampa and Columbus to win the Cup this year. Columbus and Torts deserve to be rewarded, and Tampa needs to put some respect on those blue jerseys. You gotta believe Cooper has the most pressure on him out of anyone in that building. 10 years in Tampa and no Cup with all that talent.. another 1st round exit against Columbus would be tough. They got Coleman and Maroon for a little more jam, but still.. the Blue Jackets are no joke.

My guess is that both players are out the door ASAP. Wennberg cannot score like he did his first year and Torts sounds like he's out of patience with him. Kid was a highly regarded 1st round draft choice and didn't pan out. He needs a new start somewhere else.

Dubi is either physically done or such an attitude problem they kept him on ir all year. My guess is that he's done physically and they will buy him out or release him.
