Pelle Eklund wasn't a goalie. Think you mean Pelle Lindbergh.

We definitively have our work cut out for us ... the Flyers are on a roll and looked impressive against Tampa yesterday.

They finally have a very good goalie which is something they haven't had in ages, the kid (Hart) looks on top of his game. He reminds me of a younger Carey Price, it won't be easy getting goals.

I predict the series goes to 6 games (4-2 Flyers).

Very hard to say...won’t be a blow out either way...I think the Leafs will advance but it will be tight...and we’ll all be loving the Leafs vs Bruins series. Kinda think Friday’s game will have sacred them straight

good morning boys and girls
happy to play Philly since we have a few friends in here. remember back at camp I told you you guys would make the playoffs? I just didn't expect Habs to make it !
that being said, good luck, you'll need it.

IF the Habs play as a team and don’t just rely on Carey, I think there’s a way they can make it to the next round but I’m afraid they won’t be able to do that for a whole series...would love to be proved wrong (again) though lol

if Danault and the 'big 3' were able to shut down Crosby and Malkin, I don't see how they could not do it against Philly.
Hart will have a ton of pressure imo. we'll see if he's up to it facing Price.

Winner of CBJ and Leafs gets TB, not Boston.

Pittsburgh was kinda trending down though while Philly is on the up and bursting with confidence. If Carey gets in their head and wrecks said confidence, then we’ll be good to go.

The big 3 of Weber, Petry and Chiarot will need to be very physical, because we know Philly will bring it and if there is no response, they will just steamroll right over the Habs

No crowd actually works in the Habs favor here, Hab teams from the past seemed to get intimidated by that Philly crowd and that's usually when the wheels started to fall off in a big way

I don't like their chances

So you predict a 2010 repeat then... I don’t think it will be that quick but time will tell...

Think they should swap Ouellet for Fleury?

I think a Mete/Ouellet pairing would struggle, especially when away

The third pairing is a concern for sure, although they go better through the last series. Julien likes Ouellet, sees him as a veteran who brings experience to the pairing, i’d be surprised if he did it. Making his rookies C1 and 2 is as much of trust in youth we’ll see from him I think...

Yea... but Ouellet is only older, his NHL experience is very limited, especially in the playoffs... I think he will be forced to make changes regardless, probably won't in game 1, we'll see how it goes from there I suppose

In round robin play, the Flyers out scored their opponents 11-3, that is without any of their top guns scoring and not scoring a single PP goal. The 4th line scored all the goals against Boston, the 2nd line scored all the goals against the Caps, and the 3rd line was the dominant line against the Lightning. Also, they only allowed one goal on the PK. If their top line and PP gets going, they could be a very scary team.

Very few did ... nice surprise in our retooling phase.

Regardless of how many games we get to play in the playoffs, this will be a good experience for our young guys.
