Rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic? Lol

I hope Drouin gets a serious demotion.

- Snots33_77

Right, game 1 was a fluke. Game 2 is what to expect for the remaining two games.

I think habs management and coaching needs to accept that he's an average 2nd line winger who has a questionable passion for the game. Everyone else has

We all knew that before the trade, you don't win depending on guys like that to show up when it counts

He's been amazing.

Just like last time we got into the playoffs where he posted a .933 save percentage, we'll still lose because we can't score.

Pittsburgh doesn't even impress me that much, the fact there is still a very decent chance the Habs could win this series speaks volume on their overall performance as a team looking to win the Stanley cup.

As for Drouin, the problem with him is that if he's not producing in a top 6 role, there is no role for him on this team. Putting Domi in his spot on the 2nd line would surely help Suzuki and Armia, but that leaves young Jake Evans trying to cover for Drouin's mistake? That can't be good.

Oh and for the love of god, Dale Weise could not be more useless, please replace him with... well anyone really.

The problem with Drouin is that he's a spineless coward

At least following the trade it could be argued that he'd step up with a bigger role. Nope, he proved all his doubters right 3 years later.

Couldn't agree more.... what they gave up for him is just salt in the wound!

Look at the punishment Crosby is taking every time he's on the ice, Drouin is not willing to pay the same price, he throws the puck away as soon as opposing players get near him

I agree. Watching Price the last two games has been awesome and i too am not impressed with Pittsburghs play. I think Montreal lack of offense, lack of getting the puck off the wall and poopty transition game is just making them look better than they are.

But Price right now.....

He let in 12 and we scored 11 in 6 games. Terrible. No chance.

Was that the Rangers series? The year before against Tampa, they lost 2 games 1-0, a 2-1 game and 3-1 if I remember correctly

Well ya, a 40pts dman who is physical, great shot and fast for a 50pts winger who is... well you know.

When Drouin walked away from the lighting was all you needed to see when it come to handling adversity. He won't play the puck within 5ft of the boards

Our $10.5M goalie is finally playing like an $8M goalie.

So that is a very nice things to see.

And there are still plenty of idiots who say he "can't win a cup" like other real goaltenders like Roy or Dryden.

Fact is, if Price ever had a good team in front of him, he'd be competing for the cup every year.

There was that time in 2014 where we had a shot.... until Chris Kreider decided to run him over.

There's a $2.5 million entrance fee for being the 24th team out of a 24 team tournament so it all evens out.
