I thought the Bruins were going to start playing yesterday?

In reality these games dont mean a lot, but they need to play better before things get serious.

That certainly was an uninspired effort by the Bruins. Hopefully, the "playing with urgency" component of their game ramps up Wednesday. I would hate to see them try to flip the switch when things get real.

On another note, the crew calling the game on NBC yesterday was pathetic. Specifically, the talk that the Bruins are in trouble because they lost an exhibition game to Columbus along with yesterday's loss. Do they not realize how resilient and experienced this team is?

They don't mean anything. We'll see a totally different Boston team when the games mean something.

Those losses are meaningless. It might as well be pre-season exhibition games.

We need to see something in the next two games. They may be meaningless games, but i would like to see some confidence going into the next series against a team that had to win to get in.

They know they need to play better.

I think they are trying to lull the opponents into a sense of false security.

This whole Sunday - Wednesday - Sunday schedule isn't doing them many favors to build any momentum anyways.
