G's right, there's guys on all 4 lines who can score, and every forward line and D pair can be trusted out there in the D zone

I love how deep and stacks this team is this year and it seems the boys in orange and black realize it too. This is a special squad this year and one I haven't seen our team have in over a decade
I know I have orange and black goggles on but I am really excited for this team and to see what they can do this cup run

Let's Go Flyers!!

Bill, do you think had Kalynuk signed here, he would have made the roster instead of Zamula? Or is Zamula that far ahead of his development? I wonder if Wyatt might have missed out on an opportunity, since he didn't make the cut for Chicago. I know its irrelevant at this point, but just curious on your thoughts.

In the exhibition game I felt like van Riemsdyk was the third line’s strongest forchecker, but not with the strongest foot speed. I thought it was strange that Pitlick wasn’t first man in as he’s faster and more physical than JvR. Either way, the change isn’t a big deal. I felt like the JvR, Hayes and NAK was a very good line this season, so maybe Grant will fill in well there.

As of right now, I wouldn’t play Farabee ahead of Raffl or anyone else.

Agree on Farabee...at times it looks like the pace of the game is above his skill level.

Watching that interview with Laughton all I can think is “What is going on on the ceiling in Bundy’s house?” Looks like he’s got a leak. He might want to check that out.

So, Pitlick and NAK switch positions. Interesting.

Like these lines. Scotty back with Hayes. Jvr and grant big bodies and NAK is a forechecking beast. 4 th line has size speed and some skill but all good defensively as well. Yeah looks like Joel will be 13 th forward to start.

We talk a lot about Coots being the shutdown guy but I’m really hoping that Hayes line can be legit against top lines. Konecny being a scrappy pest. Laughton being a gritty guy. Hayes having a balanced two way game.

Besides their physicality, Rangers getting dominated so far.

I like these lines. Scotty back with Hayes. Jvr and grant work well together with a forechecking beast in NAK. 4 th line has speed, some skill and descent defense. Yup looks like Joel may be 13 th.

Looks like playoff hockey is back. Looked very different from the exhibition games.

I can’t hear the game. Who are they honoring at the beginning of the Hawks/Oilers game? Is it the Oiler who passed away?
