Carol Schram: Kole Lind has himself a day at scrimmage as Canucks' roster decisions loom With just two days left before they head to Edmonton and move into their bubble, the Vancouver Canucks will hold their fourth scrimmage on Friday night. Winger Kole Lind was a standout at the last mock-game situation, on Wednesday.

Thanks Carol.

I really hope Ferland is ready. Not necessarily for what he brings to the ice ,although that can be formidable in the playoffs. I'm somewhat concerned that if he isn't ready his competitive nature will get the best of him and he'll try anyways.

It would be such a shame for himself especially to suffer a setback at a late stage like this after so many issues over the past couple of years.

Great video with Miller . Beagle probably hates him .

Carol what did you think of they young D ? Juolevi and Chatfield?

Chatfield had a beautiful pass to Lind. He is always the first call up when it is a RHD . Is he outplaying Rafferty? I know he is a great skater but has his play in his own end improved?

Thanks Carol!

Who will be the 3 on the outs?

3 of: Graovac, Bailey, Brisebois, Lind, Rafferty?

For the most part, the young D have been pretty quiet. The big news is that Juolevi has been solid. The others, I haven't really seen much to make one stand out over another.

I would assume the first instinct will be to prioritize the guys who have been called up before — Chatfield, Brisebois, Sautner? But Travis did talk about how he hasn't seen Juolevi much because he has been injured so often. He liked what he has seen over these past few weeks and said something about *if* Juolevi goes to Edmonton, he'll get a chance to see him more.

Thanks . I think we are all expecting Juolevi some time next year , whether at training camp or sometime in the year to get the call up and stick .

I cheer for the young Comets but I think Canucks have a pretty clear idea of who is part of the future.

Toronto has some good things about it. It's a pretty clean city for it's size. I really like the Kingston area east of TO.

Still hate the Leafs though.

Spoiled BC boy. No interest in muggy flat land places lol

Wifey & I have a cross country drive vacation on our bucket list. Atlantic Canada & Quebec are most of the sightseeing etc.

Ontario is a pretty big province and it's not all flat and muggy. The great lakes are something, so is the upper Ottawa valley and a pile of places in between. If you ever want some tips on places to check out send me a PM well in advance of your trip. I'd be happy to provide some places to go.

now that sounds like fun! i imagine it'll be after you retire so a few months would be ideal.

don't let sports rivalries cloud your thinking. toronto and ontario is nice to visit. you're right about the humidity but it's a worthwhile place to visit for sure.

I've driven across the country probably a dozen times already in my life. You make sure to re-visit favourite locations but there's always something new to see. I plan on doing it again within a couple of years.

Sounds great & will do thx

I meant zero interest in Hogtown. Nothing to see & don’t care for big cities without historical architecture. Quebec city & Montreal are fine.

If you can afford it it's a great way to travel. However, be warned that passenger train schedules become highly irregular between Winnipeg and Capreol (Sudbury)

I like the freedom of driving, and if necessary could get coast to coast in 5 days easily enough. Still, to do it once i'd allocate a minimum of 2 months unless I'd seen much of it already.

Coming from the West i'd probably head directly to the East Coast within reason, seeing a few things along the way on one route. Work your way back so that if you run out of cash or time the things you missed are closer to you.

Yes the initial plan is a quick buzz to the east coast & visit around around there a lot. Then a slower trip back home. Take about a month give or take we figure.
