I would expect it is too difficult to pick who should stay safe for the expansion draft until as you said we get the official rules. They blew it last time obviously they did need to ditch but protecting petrovic was a wasted save. We don't even know who will be left on this team after the eventual free agency period. Almost puck time people!!!!

Good points, Shynes. Still a lot of things will happen before the Expansion Draft, but it’s still fun to think about

Saw some people freaking out that Ekblad and Priskie missed practice Wednesday. Probably some maintenance or light injury/illness.

Q: “ We’ll see on Prisser, and Ek should be back soon.”

I forget if Bob has anything that prevents him from being exposed but i would expose him as chances seattle takes that salary are slim unless they need a huge chunk to get them to the floor
And if they do oh well try riding drieds and then soon enough knight if he pans out

Bob has a full NMC for the first four or five years, then I think it changes to 16 team no trade list.

Well there goes that plan then unless of course they eliminate that rule this time around. Doubtful

So the lads are in Toronto. Man I wish the games were fan-friendly. It'd be just over an hour to a Florida playoff game (potentially) Could still probably find out which rooms the guys are in if I call in a favour from my brother.

I'm ready for some hockey. Let the hockey mania begin
The Panthers seem confident and ready. We'll soon see if they can pick up where they left off in St Louis. Q was impressed and even a little surprised at the pace the team had right from day one of camp. They haven't really tinkered with the lines much throughout camp, until Ekblad missed practices w/a minor injury. It's been so long since they have played, I had forgotten that Q put Hubie w/Haula and Hoffman, and put Vatrano in Hubie's spot on Barkov's wing. Vatrano has speed to burn, and can stir it up for Barky and Dads, and he has a great shot. Hubie on line two setting up Hoffbombs could be a lethal combo. It seems that the last few games before Covid that the Panthers might've finally figured out what Q has been saying all year about "playing the right way". We'll see if those Panthers show up, they should beat the Isles if they do. They're going to need Barky and Hubie to step up into the playoff limelight.
Panthers' expected line up, per George Richards.
Frank Vatrano-Sasha Barkov-Evgenii Dadonov
Jonathan Huberdeau-Erik Haula-Mike Hoffman
Lucas Wallmark-Brian Boyle-Brett Connolly
Mark Pysyk-Noel Acciari-Colton Sceviour.

Aaron Ekblad-MacKenzie Weegar
Anton Stralman-Riley Stillman
Keith Yandle-Mike Matheson

Sergei Bobrovsky
Chris Driedger

I hear the kid Saarela has been very impressive in camp, following up on his strong showing right before the hiatus. He'll probably be first into the lineup if/when any changes happen.

Just watched the "highlights" surprise not a single good play by the cats. Terrible giveaways and bob going down leaving the entire upper cage. I took panthers in 5 i should maybe change to isles in 3
