Just curious how someone with your tastes can make a top 50 list and not have Raiders of the Lost Ark or Ghostbusters.

Back to the Future is a fine number one but it's part of the perfect movie trifecta with the other two.

When are you going to start blogging for the Jets?

At least Jets blogs have Jets fans posting on them. I do not think I have seen a Coyotes fan comment on your blogs.

High Fidelity is a solid movie but Cusack is a complete Douche and Jagoff of the 1st order.

Your movie list is better than I thought it would be.

Thank God that's all over. 50 blogs of zero actual content.

They were both in consideration, i am huge fan of them. I basically consider the whole trilogy one movie too.

Back to the Future man. In my top 5 any day of the year. Great great movie. Saving Private Ryan, U-571, Rocky, A Christmas Story, are my other 4. Apollo 13, Pulp Fiction, Scarface, Tropic Thunder, 2001: A Space Odyssey round out my top 10.

Great choice for #1, an absolute classic.

I can live with Roenick at #1. Guy was genuinely entertaining to watch and would be in the Hall already if he didn't have a personality. And his numbers would be so much higher if not for that knee from one of the Hatchers. No comment on the movies. Seen maybe 4 of them and no interest in more. Now top 50 books or documentaries...

I was wondering if Tanner would pick something off the wall like Run Lola Run, Mulholland Drive, or Seven Samurai, but he went with a pretty safe choice that pretty much extends through many generations.

Although I wouldn’t have chosen it, I certainly understand that it makes its way onto a large percentage of lists for Millennials, Gen-Xers, and even Boomers.

It’s a decent flick that still holds up in an era where I don’t feel a whole lot of films do.

And who doesn’t love Christopher Lloyd?

And yeah. It had to be JR.

Well now that this is finally over, could you consider reporting something about the Arizona Coyotes?

I noticed Kessel was removed from the PP units. Care to comment on that?

Remember that new President and CEO...you made a pretty big deal about him being Latino. So after a couple months on the job, has he done anything noteworthy? Is he adjusting the strategy to connect with fans or local sponsors? Has he made any changes to hockey operations?

These are the kind of topics a guy like Bill Meltzer would report on. He works hard. You watch movies over and over.

Get your feet off the table.

The Latino thing was just a classic liberal check the box, he/she is a minority. They don’t care if they do anything well or improve the company/brand.

Shouldn't the #1 movie on this blog be Raising Arizona?

I’m talking about tanner mentioning it, nothing to do with the organization.

That sounds more appropriate than his choice. Not sure I agree on how BttF holds up. Tried watching it with my kid last year. Forgot about the plotline revolving around the father being a peeping Tom, the unsavory dynamic with his horny mother and and the sexual assault the night of the climactic scene.
I'd imagine that's how my mother felt when she took me to see it in the theatre!!

I had to watch Run Lola Run for a film class in college, but I didn't really consider it here. I did consider Amelei, but not for #1 for #1 there was no consideration at all, if you have to think about it, you probably don't have a #1

As a Nick Cage fan and a Coen brothers fan, and an Arizona sports reporter, I guess it makes sense, but it's not one of my favorites.

I think it holds up fine but when I watched it with my kids I felt a bit uncomfortable at times.

I was thinking Roenick would end up #1 on this list. Sometimes he’s entertaining and a refreshingly honest interview. But a lot of times he’s obnoxious. He was a heck of a player though.

Back to the Future is a very solid movie. Always fun to watch. I remember seeing it in the theater. My favorite part is when he puts on the radiation suit and plays Van Halen on the Walkman. Good stuff.
