Spezza keeps getting time on the 4th line. I'm genuinely curious though, is he not good enough to be a 3rd line center between two young guys that have a bit more legs? Is it just that he's too slow, or can't play the minutes anymore?

Spezza keeps getting time on the 4th line. I'm genuinely curious though, is he not good enough to be a 3rd line center between two young guys that have a bit more legs? Is it just that he's too slow, or can't play the minutes anymore?

I really surprised by how much I like Spezza on the Leafs but I do think he's just not fast enough...especially beside Kappy and Johnsson/Robertson.

A couple years ago, he would've been awesome to have at 3C. Pure professional.
