That's really weird, just like a low drone. Sounds like a swarm of bees or something. Then the fake "ah!" when a Red Sox player missed a fly in foul territory.

I watched 1 inning tonight, had to change it

Derek Roy was a good 2C in 2008 who played with two really good/borderline elite wingers
- jcragcrumple

Roy was a legit 1C for a few years. He put up really good numbers for a while

You jump all over Mitts for being out of shape yet you defend the Austrian Chub Master as being abused. Why?

In 07-08 he put up 1C numbers, yeah. But he was riding the coat tails of 26 and 29 imo. We all remember them searching the wilderness with Hodgson, Ott, Leino and Adam. Roy wasn't the guy

The more unfortunate thing to me is TC's head injuries. He actually could have been a long-term 1C. He ended up like Marc Savard instead

There’s a 4 year period where he was like a .9 PPG player.

I don’t think it was as dire of a situation as having Mittelstadt at 2C

my guess is he could be better if he slept a few hours, and pretty much everyone else but you would agree to that

We're having two different conversations I think. My point was that Vanek's potential wasn't realized due to the flux at C. I missed the whole Mittelstadt tie-in

I thought you were saying Vanek produced in spite of his centers. Roy was really good. It’s not like he had Mittelstadt as his center
