I'm buffalo guy, hopefully larry likes the small town swedish feel here. I like what he brings, cant say he takes a shift off.

But,

-We suck and probably won't win
-He's getting his first shot at big ufa $
-chosing a destination with a better climate

- Boss34

Well, sure. Obviously i get all that. Makes sense.
Just wondering if there’s been any info coming from Larsson??
Bc right now, it just seems like ppl are making their assumptions sound very concrete

I could see a few of those guys released, I like Clowney very good all-around player, but Addison has been just as good the last 4yrs
- Buff36

I think Clowney has been held back by injuries & has a higher ceiling
I also have watched like 2 Panthers games the last 4yrs though, so I’ll admit that Addison could very well be better than i think

And i brought up Clowney just bc he’s out there waiting to be signed
This started off with a proposed trade for Mack for a 1st round pick,
which I’d do in a heartbeat
It’s nice to have depth like we do
But I’d give some of that up for a stud pass rusher
I think that would tale our defense to the next level

Oh I agree, but with Addison and Jefferson I think we will see a big difference there.

Unless Clowney could be had for pennies, he's not coming here. Beane wants to roll over as much cap as he can because of he Covidcap. Now we get a nice 5M cushion into next season with Star gone for the year.

For selfish reasons I hope it's limited to just Star. But I'll never question anyone's reasoning for opting out (he has a heart condition, and I don't blame him one bit).

The Bills Mafia page is a sh!t show with regards to Star's decision. It's actually quite embarrassing to see people's true colors (calling him a "pu$$y", other names). It's a (frank)ing GAME. Some act like the Bills are life or death. Bunch of babies.

So with Star's election to opt-out, do the Bill's have enough depth to overcome that loss, or do you guys think they will need to source a "replacement" / depth player there?

I don't even go there. Or Sabres FB. I'm gonna reuse the MENSA joke, but this place is a MENSA conference compared to that place.

People have opinions. That's fine. You don't think the virus is serious, you don't think it exists, whatever. But questioning and attacking other people's decisions for their health is vile.

you lose star and phillips, but gain butler, jefferson and really harrison phillips

plus you have oliver so I think they are fine

the winner in this is murphy, as he was set to be a cap casualty and now could be safe for the d line

Makes sense. Long as Harry steps up like he was doing last year, you've already got Star and Jordan's replacement, with Butler.

the last part of the paragraph

"Second-year Buffalo Bills tight end Tommy Sweeney is competing in a crowded room with juggernaut (get it?) Dawson Knox, coach favorite Lee Smith, Tyler Kroft on a restructured deal which all but guarantees him a roster spot, and Jason Croom who continues to find ways to stay a part of the team even when injured."

I know I'm talking to the wrong guy but Croom has his uses. He's the only other pass catcher other than Knox. Guy is solid practice squad material. Sweeney is a Kroft type, can catch but mostly for blocking. Croom's presence doesn't bother me, but it's not like he's anything special.

Yeah, Croom has his uses for the Pegula daughter. That's probably why he wasn't cut after an injury settlement last year

Im interested to see what happens with the kickers. You've got a guy who's close to automatic inside 45 and a guy who can kick 55+

I doubt they go the Rex Ryan route and keep both. I think being able to hit consistently inside 45 is huge. Bass will have to be good everywhere to beat out Hauschka

He should still be a Cap causality
Especially since we can roll over the savings to next year
Would still have Hughes, Addison & Epenesa, plus Jefferson can play DE as well
It would still leave us with 7 quality defensive linemen

with the increased PS, if Bass doesn't beat Hauske out, he'll be stashed there and can be activated whenever they want for kickoffs/long field goals. Bass probably has a good chance to win the job outright as they scouted him extensively and used a draft pick on him

I don't think they ever intended him to be a cap casualty. I think his knee finally felt okay at the end of the season where he came on strong. He was also by far our best player in the Houston game.

AA-Ron - 259 yards per game, 2 TDs per game
Stafford - 275 yards per game, 1.7 Tds per game.

- ImThatGuy

AAron has also thrown fewer than 10 INTs for 10 years, Stafford has never managed to not throw more than 10 in every year he played double digit games. Plus you never know if he's going to play, even when he has been "healthy" and played every game he's been a question mark a lot. Rodgers has 84 INT in 181 games. Stafford has 134 in 149. That .3 TDs per game adds up to 108 more for Rodgers in 32 more games. Stafford is a good QB on a poop team. Rodgers is a very good QB on a mostly good to very good team. Rodgers QB rating is 102.4 for his career while Stafford's is 89.3. Rodgers also has 2000 more rushing yards than Stafford, and twice as many rushing TDs, 28 to 14.

Idk that they intend Murphy to be a cap causality either
And he’s a fine player
But i think we’d be fine rotating 7 D-linemen instead of 8
And that would save us like 10mil on the cap next year
That could be the difference in being able to bring back Milano for example

they kept him on the roster though for 1 day before they put him on ir

all so sunscreen pegula's boyfriend gets a little extra change

and of course someone who deserved to make the roster and was healthy got cut

one more reason why the owners mess with the sport teams

now I have him at 75/25

they love that rotation
