only time I attacked you is when you made the stupid statement that abused women deserve it for staying

you really are a crotchety d!ckhead

probably single as well

- homiedclown

Oh there have been a few more and you misrepresented that because it went above your intellect.

I have not called you a single "vulger" name like you toss around because I can debate and spank the Hell out of you in a much higher way.

Regarding women, wives what does your wife think about all the quality time her husband spends on a message board? Was that in the wedding vows? To love, honor, cherish when I'm not on Hockeybuzz? ......see, that is how you kick someone's ass without using the locker room word of a male's genitalia when you have at least half a brain.

I said the 11 day funeral for john lewis was a bit much and he really did not do anything for atlanta in his 33 years in congress

it was a dump then and is a dump 33 year later

I got that part. I just read that "sentence" 5 times and have no idea what it means.

When Jack was playing hurt and his play fell off, the whole line disappeared. It does make you question some things.

Everything I've seen makes me cautious when projecting his growth. I just don't see top end talent and he's 25. Last year, everything was set up to maximize his production. At some point, that may not happen.

It's not hate at all. Just cause to be cautious with his next contract.

- Lunaion

Wonder if the Sabres would consider trading olloffson?

You're making me nervous again 😟

It's so clear that the Sabres have 1 or 2 top talents and not much else.

Olloffson's trade (trade) value in relation to sam? What's your guess?

Well that's the big ?. The kid can be used in a offensive roll or defensive roll, he could be a perfect 3C with the right linemates. He had 31 assists his 1st year and 16 last year in 32 games in Rochester.

The Sabres have options, I really am not stuck on 1 position that needs to be upgraded, yes it would be nice to get that 2C, but we just need a couple good players. Cozens isn't rated #1 for nothing. Get a couple good players, fix your PK and a better 1B goaltender and this team is close, they need a player who knows what it takes, show the way a Patrick Maroon or someone close.

I could respect that thought.

I feel like staff and ownership has held them back for years.

Staff is a good fantasy guy, but getting older and more frail. Without him, 3 wins , possibly get swept in the division regardless

* NFC north went 31-17 (not including detroit)
That's including playing each other twice.

Should be good odds. I'd like to bet against you.
Friendly wager with some odds

I’ll make my display picture Josh Allen for a year if the Lions don’t win the North.

And you can make your Display picture Drew Lock if they do ?

I’m open to suggestions

Matt Stafford has been so underrated his entire career its insane.

By the time his career is done he will most likely be top 10 ALL TIME in both Yards and passing TDs.

God I would hope they don't go 5mill for him yet.
- Buff36

Even if it’s long term?
I know it’s a bit of a gamble, but that could end up being a nice value contract

Not to start a Sam debate again,
but how many of the ppl here who don’t like him would still want him gone if he’d been signed to that 5 x 5 deal that was rumored?

He’s actually not good yet IMO.

Someone who can’t average more shots per 60 than Vlad Sobotka isn’t all that special

I can play this game too.

Blind old fart too busy petting his golden retriever, guns and working on drainage in the yard. Sitting in front of a 75 inch tv, cant see the game, tv cable cord is cut . Too much lib hate . Has a clue though....

Good one, like it

Back to Sabres Dmen being limited by Kruegers system.

https://www.expectedbuffa...disconnect-in-transition/

Here's a good summary though:
I started by looking at zone-entries per 60 minutes among all defensemen in the data by team to see where the Sabres ended up. ...they ranked 30th in the league in carry-ins by defensemen per 60 minutes. Thus confirming that the system they play under Krueger did not have defenders carrying the puck into the zone often.

The next thing I wanted to tackle were the dump-ins. Let’s see how often they went that route. Again, to no surprise they had the highest percentage of entries via dump-ins in the NHL at 68%.]

Tying this all back in, we have another example of a disconnect between the head coach and general manager. Botterill went out to acquire good transition defenders, yet the coach puts a system in place that clips their wings.

Remember when Rasmus Dahlin got off to a tough start? The coaching staff wanted him to focus more on defense at the cost of potentially declining his offensive impact.

I guess the BradentonInsider was right all along.

my big money league, is a 2 qb league

I am amazed how often I am able to get him late to be my back up/bye week replacement

I almost go out of my way not to pick starters with his bye week so I can grab him as the 20th qb off the board

Most.

Sobotka was 7th.

Olofsson was 12th

Which it's not a big deal, but Olofsson's whole thing is his shot. How are you not able to get it off ever when the entire opposition focuses on Eichel and Reinhart for the most part

- sbroads24

Do they keep stats on how much time a guy has possession of the puck?

What I’m wondering here, is why he wasn’t shooting more?
Was it “that he couldn’t get his shot off?”
Was he getting them blocked? Or getting check off the puck & turning it over?

Or was it just that Jack & Sam we’re carrying the puck all the time, so his chances to shoot were limited?

Dahlins 4 goals are great, what are you talking about?

He wasn't a teenager, when he was drafted and expectations were set very low. Now 2 years later he is a teenager.

If RALPH wouldnt have told dahlin to not go past the redline ( documented proof) , we're marching down Delaware with the cup.

The oegulas told ted, phil and Ralph play sam at wing not center. He has lived up to his draft status. 109 goals in 400 nhl games, playing with the best passer in the nhl has no impact on his numbers. He's definitely a core guy.

Real problems- Larsson who had his best season ever and girgensons and his 12 goals.

In this landscape of the NHL, I would be surprised if they went higher than 3.5mill. Supposedly Hall was just offered a 5yr 7.5mill a year contract by Arizona. Not gonna get it done, but I don't expect a lot of big money thrown around for the next few years.

He’ll be a top 5 Fantasy QB this year easily.

I watch a lot of the Lions as my pops is a Detroit fan.

I think he’s one of the most underrated players of the past decade in the NFL.

Of course it’s tough to get attention when the team always misses the playoffs.

right now my 5 worst teams, with 1 being the worst

1. jags
2. jets
3, redskins
4. miami
5. panthers

- homiedclown

Jets finished 6-1 last year once they got healthy
Miami gave us a rum for our $$$ with a team that was trying to tank

Both are gonna be tougher than most Bills fans are giving them credit for

I agree the Jags & Skins are the obvious teams who are hoping to be in position to draft Trevor

His stats back up his play. 9 even strength goals last year?
