Yeah, and Dahlin doesn't have a shutout either. What are we doing here? We're comparing forwards and defensemen?

Go back to my comparison of the 1st two seasons of Ekblad and Dahlin. Dahlin has more points in fewer games. Would you be happier if he had fewer points but more goals? So instead of having 44 points, would you have been happier if he had 15 goals and 35 points overall?

Yes, goals are important in hockey. More important than assists and secondary assists.

The point totals are good.

Did you expect more than 13 goals thru 2 seasons or not?

We need more goals , pretty obvious

first 2 years pronger had 10 goals and 44 points in 124 games

dahlin had 13 goals and 84 points in 141 games

Good comparison.

I personally feel like dahlin fell short of MY goal scoring expectations. Just wondered what other posters thought in regards to their forecasting after being picked #1?

Anyone have dahlin at under 20 goals, for 2 seasons? 18 for hedman seemed like the minimum.

Or eckblad's numbers

I never thought Ralph was the right guy for this team

if want to play it safe and be around .500 he is fine

if you want to untap the potential of these kids, need a more offensive minded coach

I watched strong defensive teams in the Isles, Blue Jackets, and Canes dispose of the Caps, TBL, and Penguins last year with ease.

I want to win.

I’d like to see how well Ralph’s system works with another horse down the middle and better goaltending.

He's a playmaker more than a goal scorer, but once he packs on some man strength I think you'll see more goals. He doesn't have the power that he eventually will on his wrist shot yet

Tarasenko played 10 games this year. It's like giving Reinhart an 8 mile lead in a marathon and saying see they finished at the same time.

Also, keep railing on John Lewis and who many call the Conscience of the Congress and who is respected by both sides of the aisle. It is a good look for you.

I agree, the upside is still exponential.

Again, I was responding to 3ERROR and mentioning that dahlin and tremaine Edmunds are not as good as advertised.

Edmund's is underrated in my opinion. Hes about to explode on the scene with our top defense and scheme built for big stats from his position.

Dahiln, still kinda disappointing. Maybe my Hope's and expectations were to high.

Eckblad was my minimum (goal totals)

When you're lacking in offensive ability and have suspect goaltending, that just seems like a recipe for disaster.

his district in atlanta is the slums

he played the race card whenever he could

he was a country divider regarding trump

the man was living proof you don't have to be white to be a racist

This reads like The Daily Caller and what they wrote over the last few days. I give you points for reading but his constituents elected and re-elected him 16 times. You could at least wait until his body was 6 feet under before you went classless.

why the sour grapes?...his district doesn't concern you, nor should his legacy...he got the poop beat out of him...would you like to tell your story of how state troopers and police beat the poop out of you and your group while standing up for merely wanting being looked upon as human beings and American citizens with equal rights?

He is in the news for 11 straight days

Look at his voting record

Look and all the did not vote and no's

Again what has he done for Atlanta or in the house for an 11 day celebration of life?

I get he did a lot of things before any of us were born, but all I know of him in Congress is one who helped keep the country divided and play the race card

What do u mean your hopes and expectations were too high? The snake oil salesmen around here said he was going to be the best defenceman ever drafted. The Connor McDavid of defenceman. Fanboys still trying to tell you he has been every bit of that. 👌

McDavid was instantly generational as advertised.

Think what you want about Dahlin or Edmunds. They’re overrated. The next time I’m wrong on this board will be the first time. Fortunate for some, unlucky for others, the archives don’t lie.
