It happens every election. There's always the right-wing fear-porn brigade "they're going to take your guns!", meanwhile Ruger, S&W, FN, Glock, Sig... all laugh their way to the bank. This time the pandemic just got heaped on top and kicked it off early. The rush buying started way before the riots. Hell it's been nigh on impossible to find .22 LR for years now. Every once in a while you'll see cases of .223, but they go quick. I don't know what it's been like the past couple years as I haven't shot as much, but it was rough trying to find anything other than 12G target load, or the niche rifle calibers.

It's been tough getting 9m rnds for awhile, that's why if I find it I usually buy bulk.

I like what Chayka did at the amateur level for the Coyotes. He will probably kick himself for not taking Quinn Hughes instead of Barret Hayton but they have some appealing mid-late round picks who look to be NHL’ers

Big brain Hometown guy.

Analytics guru, replaces cap guru. What could go wrong?

Soccer guy as coach
Harbor center rink guard as gm
Local kid as minority owner.

Carolina made it to the ECF last year and they are an organization known for their use of analytics.

They also had cap space in spades last year too, they were quite lean

Now it helps when the likes of Aho and Svechnikov were on rookie deals.

Bergervin gifted the Canes with one of the best value contracts in the league with that pathetic Aho offersheet.

I would have taken Chayka here, he's got some ball's, I bet he would find that available 2C, and pull the trigger, he has no attachment to any players.

All better IMO

I don’t even think the Cowboys & Vikings are in that top group

In no order:
Seattle, Saints, Packers & 49ers in the top tier

I think no to the Vikings, but Dallas could be tough, they had a good draft.

Nah.
Perfect time to blow up that poop hole of mentally fragile losers that hasn't done a damn thing in 9 years and completely revamp the roster.

The timing is pretty good if the can weaponize the Cap Space by trading a couple players to unload Cap, by making a judicious trade or two, and savvy shopping on the UFA market.

Sure, they have a bad rap now...can Krueger and Adams spit shine it to attract 1 or 2 UFA's? Maybe, why not in a depressed market.

The only UFA I would entertain retaining is Larry Larry, but only at a flat salary..$1.7m.
The rest can all go. If they could sign and trade one, sure go for it.

- IonSabres

U think Jack is gonna stand for blowing it all up & doing a rebuild?

Cap space is nice...
but only if i can get ppl to sign here

Well again we have to wait and see how he handles it, nobody knows. He could come out and just blow some things up. Guy knows what it takes to win, he might surprise us.

I’m not saying he’ll suck

Oh, well if these guys said there's no connection, then I guess there couldn't possibly be?

Appreciate the update

I'll take it as fact

- Boss34

Well considering Wawrow has a very good record, I'll take his word over the speculation from The Hockey Writers.

Doesn't mean it won't happen. But multiple people, now including Dreger and Lysowski, say there isn't a connection that they know of to Buffalo.

I’ve never understood giving draft grades before seeing these guys develop over the course of a few years.

CeeDee Lamb should elevate that offence nonetheless.

The whole NFC north took a step back this year.

Vikings lost Diggs and several starters on D. Cook is threatening to hold out.

Packers decided to select a backup QB and RB in the first two rounds and not get Rodgers another weapon.

Cowboys are frauds. Didn’t you watch the Bills slap them on thanksgiving last year ? Has Prescott ever beaten a team with a winning record ? He’ll steal their money just like Cousins is stealing Minnesota’s.

Seattle very well could have won the NFC this past year if they weren’t down to their 15th running back. Carson and Penny went down at the worst time. Now you add Jamal Adams to that defence I think they have as good a shot as Sam Fran in that division.

Arizona can be a strong team however I’ll believe it when I see it. I’m not buying the Tampa Bay hype. Brady was awful the last two years and was completely masked by the Pats defence. I’m not expecting him to get any better now that he’s in Florida however he has enough weapons to be just good enough to be competitive.

Apart from San Fran and New Orleans I don’t really see anyone clearly above Seattle. (And even San Fran won the division last year by a half an inch in Week 17 when the Seattle tight end got tackled on the half yard line on the last play of the game)

Vanek’s 7 for 7 was pathetic. Took Darcy 30 seconds to sign it. Is that what you’re saying?
