I get not wanting to overpay for Larsson.

But holy moly, I've never seen someone just refuse to even acknowledge the value a guy has brought to this team like Larsson has these past two years

He's taken ROR's defensive responsibilities and there has been 0 drop off (Defensively)

He's legitimately a top 20 defensive forward

- sbroads24

The “Larry line” was very good last year

I got A LOT of sh!t a few years ago when i said Larsson & Girgs could be good bottom6 players,
when everyone else was saying they should be buried in Rochester
Said the same about Okposo last summer & got crap for it

Just goes to show how mismanaging players can make them look horrible (Girgs with Jack, Larsson at 2C, etc)
But if u find the right role for them,
they can show their talent & be really effective players

BRING THEM BACK ❤️❤️❤️

I doubt Larsson will stay so I've moved on he has threatened many times to leave because of money and more minutes ..

And he has a sour attitude towards his team

I'm good

That’s great
But J Crag’s main objection to Girgs & Larsson is that they don’t score enough
Yet he holds Grier up as the standard for a defensive forward
Except Grier doesn’t even meet the 15goals standard that J Crag is putting in the position
He had half that in the year he played with Drury

I was just contradicting his typical nonsense

- jdfitz77

Wat?

He had two 20 goal seasons before even getting to Buffalo.

Larsson has never had 20 POINTS, let alone 20 goals

Grier never scored 15goals with us
Had a total of 22 in his 3 season here

The year he was on a line with Drury,
he scored ONLY 7

Yet u hold him as a good top6 player,
and trash Larsson & Girgs as bottom6 players

Doesn’t make much sense??

- jdfitz77

Wat?

Where the hell did I say Grier was a good top-6 player?

I said he's the king of the Larrys

"not going to be this super powerful forward "

none of our gm's have drafted power forwards or signed undrafted power forwards since staff, aside from olofsson

asplund-playmaker
pekar-playmaker
davidsson-playmaker
weissbach-playmaker
mittelstadt-playmaker
cozens-playmaker

and the guys we signed
ruotsalainen, biro, dipietro all playmakers

closest thing we have to goal scorers, are cj smith and oglevie and neither would get a shot on the third line

This is such a silly thing to argue about, but you are so stubborn I just can't let it go

Larsson 2018-present >>>>> Mike freaking Grier.

Just admit it. Larsson is actually kinda good. You're almost alone on this island. I was there with you in 2017

I couldn't disagree more vehemently. Mike Grier wasn't scared of the offensive zone and he was a leader of men.

It's weird someone who hated Jimmy Vesey is stanning a guy who also couldn't score on a breakaway to save his life

Low bar but yes.

He was 2nd on the team to Skinner in shot quality /60.

He should've scored his normal 15. Was pretty unlucky

Grier scored 15 goals 5 times

Larsson has scored 15 points 4 times

Are you seriously contesting the assertion that Mike Grier is offensively superior to Larsson?
