Roy was also never used defensively like ROR was,
which hindered his offense

It’s been proven with StL that less d zone starts has led to more scoring output

O’Reilly was just as good of a player with us as he is with StL
He just didn’t put up the same numbers bc he was used differently, and the team around him was much worse

I was a pro Botts guy until that trade. Once he did that I wanted him fired on the spot. We should have. Worst trade in Sabre’s history and really set us back. Would of been a playoff team for two years, Casey could be a different player not being rushed, we wouldn’t of had to overpay Skinner or at minimum he could of played close to his contract this year. Lot of downhill effects from that trade.
