And Cozens might be the next Wheeler.

Think Boston wouldn't want him back?

And how about all these kids you, yourself, are drooling over at #8?

No (frank)ing way.

Best case scenario for Cozens is a Scheiffle

So you're good with trading the next Blake Wheeler, a perennial 20-25 goal scorer in Reinhart and the number 8?

Is that what you're saying?

You're fired.

Let's make one thing clear Cozens is no wheeler he is his own player the things he went through is truly amazing and hopefully he enjoys the HOF

if you had the opportunity to trade for the next patrice bergeron thats the price to pay

Larry has 50% CF this year while Cizikas had 39%. Mind you Cizikas did have 70% d-zone starts whereas Larsson had 62% roughly.
- Pegullaville

This is where I believe the Advanced Stats start getting way from actual hockey just a bit.

Larry can't finish. Cizikas can pot some pts., as you mentioned he had 20 G's where Larry has never had 20 pts.
The CF is great and all, but if we are keeping actual score, give me the guy who can impact CF AND finish.
That said, for me, it's a price discussion more that anything else...$2M more is quite a bit...it scares me away, especially as inconsistent as Cizikas has been over the last 3 years.

I wouldn't get carried away about Wheeler. He's no sure-fire HOFer. He has 700 points in 900 games.

I love his style, and Cozens' combo of size and speed could be similar, imo.

Cozens, Rhino and 8 is still too much to give up for a guy who looks good on a stacked Tampa team, yet hasn't hit 20 goals yet.

imo, there's no way mitch will let that one go away...i think what'll happen is that they'll come to a deal and make payments on whatever the final number is (i believe it will be between $400 and $500, at least) retroactive...

it's an election year

I can see the Jeff Carter comparisons as well actually.

All in all he’s going to be Dylan Cozens and I have faith he’s our 2C in time but I would definitely ease him in on the wing.

Frequenting the donut shop down the street from his house. Said if this hockey thing don't work out, he'd try his hand as a police officer.

Hockey Central" 590AM. Brian Burke said another GM told him (in regards to Adams) "It's his first night in prison, someone's going to get him, might as well be us"

I cringe a little at that so probably. Or the Borgen. Or the Johnson. I’d like to keep Samuelson or at least one of our bigger d prospects. Again, they are prospects, Cerelli is a plug and play 2c. I’d do any of the above.

What’s the worst case scenario.... you are too strong down the middle?!? With Jack, Cerelli, Cozens?!? ... to strong down the middle can never be a thing.

- Gr8daygo

I can't remember what that was like. 2007 is a long time ago

I hope they come calling.

IMO, we hope and perhaps believe Cozens is equal to Cirelli...his offensive numbers may not get there over the next 2 years largely because of how stacked Tampa is offensively compared to Sabres. I'd want to retain Cozens and adding Sam and 8th OA is ridiculous IMO. Therefore, I would not include Cozens in any deal for him. 8th OA and Mitts is about as far as I'd go.
- IonSabres

I would do that... or a first round swap and throw in more.

But 8th pick and mitts. Done.
