Bills are releasing veteran OL Spencer Long, per source.

I see the Bills are releasing Larry Long. Sure sign that Winters is going to agree to a contract. No he has not officially signed yet as of earlier this morning.

I’d like Dadonov on a short term deal.

Key words “short term”

I wonder with the acquisition of Pageau and with Nelson being signed long term if Cizikas is the odd man out in NYI.

He would be a really good trade target with the Isles needed to re-up Barzal

He was on Strome's line and when Chi shortened the bench early in the third, very little was seen of them. Strome had one go in off of him. Which isn't bad save for he looked like a Keystone Cop on the play. Reminiscent of the worst of the Sabres.

Not totally bashing on him, just pointing it out

Do you think third line Larry is really going to re-up here? He is a Larry I’m fine with keeping or replacing. Regardless of his long Larry history, last year he showed he can play in Ralph’s system. And play the defensive role rather well. So I’d lean a little more toward signing him because of knowing what he can do in Ralph’s system.

I still kind of want to see...

Kahun. Mojo. Cozens as a swap around line. Where each takes time at center based on situation.

Which leaves

Left wing Larry. Larry Larry. Concussed Larry
Left wing Larry is any left wing you can find for the Larry line.... Vesey maybe?!?

Then you have

Skinner. 2c. Too Tall Larry?

Olo. Jack. Samson.

This line up kind of upsets your traditional first, second, third, forth lines. But Ralph hates numbering line and it’s what he did last year.

I am fine moving too tall Larry in a package but as a lean move, may as well see if he’s got anything for a 2rw role.

I also left bid-ya game fatty Larry out. Again, I know Terry wants the kids in, but his weak a$$ chunky midsection is starting in Rochester or being moved out.

I think a third line of kahun-larry-tage could be very effective

Is Cizikas a legitimate upgrade over Larry, and is the pay he will seek commensurate with his abilities?

So cozens to 2rw... I just don’t want to throw the kid in at 2c. Again, work him in there. But find a stop gap 2c.

Skinner. 2c. Cozens.

I’m fine with a Henrique. Krejci. Bjustead.

I kinda agree. But maybe he liked playing form Ralph... the Ralph factor could be interesting.

It’s a lean move and if Tage put on some strength it could maybe work. If Tage gets a bit stronger on the puck and learns the defensive side of the game, with his reach he could be a really solid RW with heavy PK time...

No more Strom?

And Stephan? You spelled bjustead wrong. Which actually isn’t how you spell bjustead anyways. But it’ll be bjustead. And he’ll be injured by game 10.
