It's looking like at least one, if not both of those options listed above will be available at pick 8.

I think gold is over it’s sweet spot right now. There’s plenty to go around. I’d be shocked if it hit 3500. I hope it does though. Silver is the one I like the best. It’s probably 75% of my total position. If gold goes near that 3500 number silver should be way over 75 at that point. I’ll be just fine. Yes all my metals are for the really long.

That was well researched and based on facts. I know people want to put blame on someone but it’s a team game. During the year the Habs fans blamed Price, the Jets fans blamed Hellabuck, the Predators blamed Rinne, the Panthers blamed Bob and there were more.
If the Sabres had to fit any of the above into their payroll it would only be hopefully less goals against but who would score.

If they wouldn't allow Balsillie to buy the Coyotes and put them in Hamilton there's no way the Sabres were moving. Plus, Miami/Sunrise, Raleigh, and Phoenix/Glendale still have hockey teams despite the fact that no one goes to games.

More people STILL went to Sabres games this year than went to Canes games both overall people and percentage of total occupancy despite the fact that the Sabres suck, Buffalo is marginally smaller than Raleigh, and the Canes are actually a solid team. But that still only got the Canes to 22nd in the league in average attendance and just 26th by percentage of total occupancy.

I'm sure the players union wants that as much as the league does. If a player can cite his stats in that round as playoff stats in justification of a higher contract number down the road, he will.
