Thomas Townsend: First Overall Draft Pick, Positive Tests & Return To Play
- Thomas Townsend

The league explained how it would work if no season.....the bottom 8 of the "playoff" teams would go into the lottery.....no one else.....

"That would mean the next eight worst teams in the NHL would enter that second drawing: Montreal (.500), Chicago (.514), Arizona (.529), Minnesota (.558), Winnipeg (.563), N.Y. Rangers (.564) and Calgary (.564). Florida and Vancouver finished with the same points percentage (.565) in 69 games, but the Canucks had three fewer regulation wins, so one assumes they would be in the lottery drawing if Bergevin is accurate"

I don't feel bad for Detriot--they tanked. If they try to say they didn't it's a lie. They began the process a few seasons ago. They did not attempt to grab more wins.

I like decentivizing losing. You should never do what the NFL does. They are going to lose a ton of money in the near future.

Any updates on the CBJ?

Since it seems nobody in the hockey media cares about the team other than to moan and groan that Toronto has to play them.
