Bum36, this the same buddy that told u Chicago was a trading us Strome for Risto and gonna throw in 30 goal scorer Kubalik who had 25 goals at the time?

Funny we’re getting wink emojis about it being the worst kept secret in the NHL after the Buffalo News writes an article about it. Now everybody lining up claiming they had it first. No mention of Duds before the article came out.

If Duds does come to Buffalo, I like to see him go after two canes.

Nino Niederreiter and Jake Gardiner. Seems gardiner fell out of favor there, and they might want to move the contracts

Im not sure if Montour and Davidsson would be enough for both.

What ever TM, and again never said Strome and Kubalik for Risto, get your story straight and stay away from your Vodka and Cranberry you sound even dumber then you usually do. Wasn't trying to be 1st with the story, and most people on here have already seen the story written by the News and Friedman actually broke the story first.

Mike, seriously? You don't believe a player at age 18 or 19 would develop? Lol!

Sam's game that last 2-1/2 years is a completely different than the first 2-1/2. That is called development. Comparing his capabilities now to back 3 years ago is crazy...I'm quite sure given 30 - 40 games at C with skilled NHL wingers he could figure it out, perhaps better tha others we may trade for.
But, we don't know because he was NEVER given a reasonable chance.

- IonSabres

Perhaps it's different because he didn't need to play center. Maybe he didn't want to play there because he's uncomfortable playing the position at the NHL level. Methinks coaches have a good idea as to things like that

I thought I read somewhere that Gardiner is pretty much considered a mistake, and the Canes would love a team to take him. Obviously don't quote me on this as I can't remember where I saw it.

Yeah, I read somewhere before the shutdown they would like to move on from that contract, could have been at the deadline.

His back hasn’t been the same. It’s a gamble but it might be recovered finally with all the time off

His defensive play is atrocious couple that with his poor decision making in the defensive zone. Stay far far away.

Hearing that there are least two more teams dropping out for the upcoming KHL season. Nothing official but it appears as sponsorship issues are causing trouble.

May not have been the year to sign in the KHL.

I dont think so, I think he figured he can plug in Lafreniere for Laine.

From the sabres stand point there is no point in moving eichel, so not sure why people think winning the lotto means they can trade smaller pieces for eichel. I see it a lot on Capfriendly too.

Realistically if Eichel wants out, you tell him tough poop, you have 6 years left on the contract, you'll be here at least 4 more years.

I do not think Eichel wants out, I think the media and fans overreact to a player not giving a cookie cutter answer. Its a shame, when we react like this to comments, it sort of forces players to give the same generic response to all questions.

- Mentalorgasm5

People lament the inane, banal answers that hockey players give, and then when one gives an interesting, or at least honest, answer like Eichel, Risto, ROR, people flip the (frank) out.

Here are some of the more disturbing allegations raised in Court today as reproduced from Fenno’s Twitter timeline:

- Redondo Beach police officer: Voynov's wife had laceration over left eye, blood streaming, red marks on neck.

- Officer says Voynov's wife said he struck her in the face with his fist.

- Officer: Voynov pushed wife to ground multiple times, kicked her repeatedly while on ground, chocked her three times.

- Officer: Voynov pushed her into flat-screen TV where she cut her face.

- Officer: Voynov's wife required eight stitches to close wound above left eye.

- Officer: "There's bruising, red marks, scratches on the victim's neck."

- At Voynov's home, the officer noted blood all over bedroom, including covering comforter and a bloody handprint on floor.

- Lead prosecutor Frank Dunnick: "there's evidence to suggest prior domestic violence" involving Voynov.

Fenno added that while he could only “catch quick glimpses of photos of the injuries to Voynov's wife” and there was “lots of blood.”

(frank) that guy.

This is not, "they got into an argument, it got heated, she called him a name, he slapped her." this was a savage beating, and not the first time.

Once again, (frank) that guy.

And for the "but Varlamov" people: she made it up, he sued her, and won.

He couldn't handle 3C with Jack and ROR in front of him. I don't see how one could think he'd handle 2C.
