You know that is the horrible part, heard a rumor that 2 1/2 weeks before the bonus was do that Botts was working on a Deal for Domi+ and the bonus got in the way again, and after in fell through 2 days later Domi was traded to Montreal.
- Buff36

he had about 10 decent offers, if the sabres waiting to pay the bonus

all much better then what they got

he only has 637 games under his belt

lately plays around 21 minutes a night

never really been on any deep playoff runs

not that they would do it, but if you move on from risto and montour, he would be a nice addition to the top 4 and could be really good with dahlin

- homiedclown

BINGO!
That 2 -3 year contract term would be ideal, 3 years brings him to 33
I'd rather use someone like Mojo to acquire Hamonic.
If it is true that Larry wants to leave, see if they would include Bennett for Larry
Save Risto and Montour trades as centerpieces in trades for say Tuch and Anderson.

Harmonic is a UFA so all it would take is money.

You are the biggest offender on here. Really quiet about California, NY and NJ regressing and opening things back up. Wonder why. Must of devastated you after the Gang of 8 meeting when Pelosi and Schumer heard the truth and couldn’t perpetuate you and SBroads new Russia hoax

Not sure if anyone posted this, but here's an article about the Avs trading for Reinhart.

That is very underwhelming in my mind.
They lost me when stated the Sabres need a Top 4 D.
Sabres need a partner for Dahlin, not to simply add another D to the 4 they have that can play 2RhD.

The delay in getting the test results would need to mean the following:

- Tested and went straight home
- Did not leave the apartment or the house and property until test results came back negative
- That means no trips to the grocery store and zero deliveries, maybe not even getting the mail, just to be as safe as possible
- Test results come back negative, go to the grandparents house with no other interactions with anyone on the way there
- Still wear a mask

How many, if any, people are taking all of those precautions? I'd guess virtually nobody.

- kingcong39

And shutting down restaurants and bars changes they above how, except the testing?
IMO, nothing.

Nonsense that a drug saves lives?

Are you a sociopath?

Also I guess its ok for others to talk about covid including you right?

You must be a liberal because you feel you are the one who makes up the rules but doesn't have to follow them.

Liberal to a T.

But if Reinhart is not that good like everyone says, that is about the return you should expect for him.

Reinhar,
good enough to get great return in a trade.
Not good enough to play top 6 for the Sabres.

- ImThatGuy

You are misrepresenting the argument for trading Reinhart.
The fact that people view Reinhart as the best trade chip would seem to validate that they view him as a good hockey player.
The objective of the trade is to improve at a critical spot of a 2C.
Then, other lesser assets like Risto, Montour, Mojo, Miller could be used to trade for players at other positions to further improve the team...including backfill of the 1RW vacated by Reinhart. Something like Risto for Tuch is one idea, there are others that have been listed.

That trade value for Reinhart is horrible. Like trading 4 4th line players and thinking the combined value is equal to a 1st line player. Not.

JFitz is the worst poster on here. He actually went into debt for a college degree in mixology 😂😂. Someone should of told him you don’t even need a high school degree to open someone’s beer. Not the smartest guy by all accounts.

disagree

you get a middle pair LD, fills a spot on the roster

you get a player picked in the top 10 in yost, which is a 3rd line center with upside

and the wild card in Kaut which could easily become a top 6 RW and is touted to be a great 2 way player

I doubt it happens though

- homiedclown

Zadorov is a bottom pair defenseman. Jost has produced little so far in terms of actual points.

Think of it this way: Would the Avalanche say yes instantly to that deal? They sure would.

That deal makes the Sabres worse.

Exactly. It's quantity in place of quality, just like the O'reilly deal was.

So my wife flew back to Rochester, New York State last Saturday...several days after Cuomo's announcement to quarantine for 14 days if coming from Florida.
There are three (3) major events within a week that we both intended to come back for, I decided to stay home for various reasons, including I have some of the underlying conditions that put me at elevated risk.
Anyway, we were interested in understanding what processes NYS would enact to enforce the quarantine. Turns out nothing, nada, zilch. Not so much as an announcement on the plane before departing, or officials at the Gate upon exit to notify and capture traveler data. They have absolutely no way to enforce this, only if you become sick yourself and require hospital care, God forbid.

Many of our family and friends recently posted on social media how Cuomo is doing fantastic in protecting NYSers, lol. It is a complete sham. As I posted last week, they can't possibly enforce...but boy it sounds great!

From my experience, they're only enforcing the quarantine for people that get tested and have a positive test result.

Maybe that guy would take a deal for MacKinnon for Miller, Mojo, Larry and Girgensons
I mean, Larry and Mojo did play 2C last year and Miller did play 1RhD too...we may have to keep Girgenson.

Well we are gonna see a bunch more of these propositions, people think they can take advantage of the situation in Buffalo. But that situation could change drastically in the next few days.

WHEN?!
And for how many games?
Last time i remember Sam playing Center was 3yrs ago at 3C with garbage wingers

- jdfitz77

2017-18 in a 3rd line center role for the first 16 games of the season when the Sabres went 5-9-2...

Reinhart had five points (2+3) and was a minus-9 (tied for second worst on the team)...of his points, three (1+2) came on the powerplay

Why do we want Zadorov? Can we please stop trying to trade current Sabres for former Sabres? It must be a name recognition thing?

Zadorov sucks. Can’t believe we turned him and other scrubs into a star like Oreilly. Sucks Botts then flipped him for cap dumps.

He was the best player out of the deal we sent but is what a 3C at best? We could really use Oreilly right now

Zadarov doesn't suck, he isn't a top pair guy, but he is a decent 5-6. He would bring some grit to a team solely lacking it. Mean he had 54% Dzone starts and finished a +9 this year. Wouldn't take him in a package for Rhino but I would take him back on this team. And the Pegulas caused those scrubs for ROR.
