Having another one does help. How’s the German handling it? if you don’t mind me asking
- ImThatGuy

he looks for the dog every time one of us comes back in the front door

and every time we let him in the bedroom

so he is still a bit confused

I had to put my 15 year old beagle down today
tough day for the clown

- homiedclown

Sorry for your loss. Pets become a big part of the family and when they pass it’s a very sad time. A 15 year old beagle tells me that he or she was loved very much.

Don't think that works for the Ducks, they want Drysdale because he is a RD, Johnson and Samuelsson are LD.
- Buff36

Do they want him bc he’s RH, or bc he’s good?
If they just want a RH defenseman they can have one of our extras, or Borgen or Laaksonen if they want?

All I’m saying, is that if they need some sort of defenseman to make the deal work,
we’ve got plenty to offer

Homie, so sorry my man.

Not looking forward to that day.

I honestly thought he had a stroke or an equilibrium issue because he was walking drunk the last two weeks when he first got up

turns out it was sever arthritis in all but 2 back bones and his back legs

we also found out he was 15, not the 13 we thought, as we were told he was a year old when we adopted him

amazing how they can hide the pain for so long w/o us pet owners knowing it

From what I read, it is RhD specific as they have a pipeline of LhD prospects.
I'm sure they would view Drysdale talent and projection as a true 1RhD more favorably than our prospects.
Who knows.

In answer to your question yesterday about prospective partners for Dahlin, I guess I would hop on the Demelo train, largely because of decent age, availability as a UFA, expected reasonable cost in addition to capability.
Now I'd like to find a solid defensively astute 2RhD to partner with Joker. Dillon fits that profile, but is a bit older.

Your other boy will need some extra love for a bit.
They know, they mourn and can get depressed.

We got another Goldendoodle a little more than a year ago...she will be lost without her big sister around.

Chad D's article on DBtB on rebuilding the roster was kinda interesting in the fact he made a decision to let all the UFAs walk. Most interesting was replacing Larry with the draft pick of Lundell to break him into the league.

I think he had Johansson on the left of Lundell centering the 4th line with Okposo on the right...he had a pretty drastic overhaul for the bottom-nine

Id say we have two third liners - Mojo and Kahun.

And 28 4th liners

But Fast isn't a center so I tend to agree that the Sabres don't need him.

They need a 2RW and a 2C, assuming Cozens will be 3C next year. If not, then they need a 3C as well

One thing to consider on Cozens-

If the WHL starts their season on time, he might be able to play there for a few months until the Sabres start their season potentially Jan. 1

I think that would be a good thing for him. Get the best of both worlds with a bit more development time for him and he'd hit the ground running with the Sabres once the season starts.

Someone may tell me now that he wouldn't be allowed to leave mid-season, but I dont think thats the case

I think the rules will change if NHL starts months after CHL

If that’s allowed and then he could come to training camp in December. That would be great

Yeah, I'm thinking he would be allowed the customary 9-game tryout whenever the NHL season happens. Who knows though. The NHL caters to the whims of the junior system

It is a big assumption that the CHL will begin on time while the NHL will not start their season until New Year's Day (this year and moving forward).

But, if both of the above are correct, discussions will absolutely need to take place.

Being in Canada should be a massive advantage for the league going ahead on schedule with how well (comparatively) Canada is handling the pandemic. We'll see though

But fast is a really good Swiss army player he is very underrated and his 2 way game is on point
If we could get him for 2m for 3 years im good with that

https://www.diebytheblade...holm-fast-kerfoot-lundell

His Forward and Defense pairings are below.

I think the idea is there wouldn't be a defined 2nd line and a defined 3rd line, as the line that is playing better each game would get more minutes, while matchups and home vs. away games also playing a factor.

Olofsson - Eichel - Reinhart
Skinner - Kerfoot - Jesper Fast
Kahun - Cozens - Elias Lindholm
Johansson - Lundell - Okposo

Dahlin - Savard
Merrill - Jokiharju
McCabe - Miller
Borgen

Last time (couple years ago) we brought our younger dog (Bee Bee) along for the euthanasia. She sat next to our pix-mix (sky brown) on the blanket for his final moments.

Bee Bee knew immediately when the shot was injected, and her brother had passed. Saved for all the searching around the house for weeks, as I've had in the past.
Dog's are the best, they have unbelievable senses.

Sorry again , I feel for you and your wife.

* just got a boxer mix pup in april. Cookie Dough.
Bee bee has her hands full with the new pup.
