Team E won the lottery they probably had a 3.5 chance. The other teams that finished at the bottom will get a good player. I don't know why there needs to be a reward for a team that is trying to tank.

I think it is ridiculous the amount of times Edm and NJ have had Lotto luck. Teams should not be rewarded for trying to lose.

Team E just need any team A though H to win, because team E isn't set. After the play in, the losers will all have an equal draw for team E. So, basically, all those teams had a 24.5% chance to win 1OA. I think that was too high. They should have just grouped all the play-in teams to have like 10% chance. But, is what it is now, enjoy the breakdowns when Toronto win it

How about the top three picks every year go to a lottery

Bottom 8 teams 2 balls

Teams that have never won a cup 2 balls

There are really only a handful of teams that are good ....then about 15-20 that are interchangeable...and then the bottom 5-6 that didn’t have a chance

I think the next few years you’ll see some true parity if the cap stays flat and there are no buyouts ...

We have learned that all it takes is one person to spread the virus to many. One infected person can shutdown an entire team and could essentially shutdown an entire league worth billions if not careful.

Hold off on the partying just for a little while. Not a huge favour to ask people under the circumstances. Selfishness is not an acceptable excuse.

i may be mistaken but i thought that teams had told players to socially distance themselves in anticipation of training camps starting soon?

What about the player that went to the local grocery store to pick up a 6 pack and got CV19? If things are that dangerous shouldn't everything still be shut down? Every league already has multiple positive cases and are treating it as a super flu.

that's the thing, you can't bring the risk to zero, you can only help to mitigate the risk.

while some things like buying groceries are inevitable and have to be done some things like partying at celebrities is not as crucial.

just because the risk can't be brought to zero doesn't mean that we shouldn't try the best we can.

Sweden’s death toll is dropping every day, they are at 0% critical and the total critical is dropping ....while new cases are going up ...seems like they have figured out a way to treat it ...maybe the nhl should just go to Stockholm
