Doug Wilson needed to be punished for his sleazy move in the Hoffman trade. Dorian spanked him badly in the Karlsson trade. Norris according to Pierre McGuire is ahead of Stutzle and Byfield. San Jose’s first round 2020 draft pick turned into number 3, what a gift in this deep draft. All the players San Jose gave up have value, Balcors is the interesting one, he looks like he is on the verge of making it full time for the Sens.

raymond, holtz or perfetti. Definitely want Rossi! Dorion spoke so highly of him, hes such a playmaker and he will be an amazing addition to the sens future. I think sens land him and detroit takes Drysdale. 100%

So many players to choose from:

Because there’s so few blue chip d, you maybe go with drysdale.

At the same time...there’s just too many good forwards to pass up on.

Perfetti may be the most offensively gifted player in this draft. Not sure if he’ll be able to play Center in the league though until he gets bigger and stronger.

Raymond, before this season began was ranked #3. He was the guy I was most excited about. Even though his WJ was underwhelming (sick according to his agent) and he didn’t play a lot this season (restricted minutes) he’s got a long resume of success (look at the U18 worlds).

Holtz has the potential to be a machine in the goal scoring department..he’s shown it at the juniors. The guy scores and is big. He lacks defense though..not to mention he doesn’t hit..which is fine, but weird considering Raymond does and is smaller.

All these guys have their pros and cons, and I could make the argument for each one.

Only way a team would trade the 1st overall pick is if Chabot or Brady were included in the deal. Also, largely depends on which bubble team gets the 1st overall pick. I could see a team like Edmonton trading it for defense, but unlikely.

this post is so confusing.....I don't understand who gets what, and who Ottawa is trading with, how many picks are they getting (pretty sure Calgary doesn't have two 1st rd picks)

I think i cracked the code!

Ottawa trades duclair to Calgary for their first (sidebar, calgary say's no)

and then... wait, I'm more lost than before.

The only explanation I have is that that poster thinks that the lottery will yield and extra pick to whoever wins it, not that their going at it with their own initial pick.

1st overall picks don’t get traded.

Laf is coming with control for pretty much the minimum. Even a team with an abundance of forwards wouldn’t trade him, more likely they trade someone from the current roster.

Won’t happen anyways

If Drysdale or Sanderson is available at 5 take one of them.
