Karine Hains: The Boys Are Back in Town Positive Covid tests or not, it looks like the NHL is going to go ahead with the return to play plan and in Montreal, one clear sign of that is the fact that Carey Price is back in town...

With summer being what it is right now, how about a "best Bergevin trade" tourney? I've read Michael Stuart's and really liked it. Seems to me that with 8 years as GM and a few important trades, it could be interesting.

Honestly, who would have thought 4 years ago that PK would be the first to decline? It’s almost two bad seasons in a row for Subban. He played more game on a much better team yet Weber is the one with a total of +36.

It's hard to tell when a human body will start to break down, for every Jagr or Cheli there's a few hundred Lucic types. Beyond that, without trying to sound like a PK hater, it's clear he always wanted to use his platform to launch into other lanes of celebrity such as fashion and multimedia productions. It's also clear that his decline coincides with his relationship with another fringe athlete (yes from a celebrity standpoint hockey players are fringe athletes outside of Canada) who also desperately wants to be famous (see the Tiger Woods rebound and social media stuff). While it's possible to succeed as a pro athlete and a crossover celebrity, it's a challenging balance to maintain and it looks as if PK made his choice as to which he'd rather be, a hockey player vs celebrity. He chose celebrity. His choice. His cross to bear

Many Habs fans want to move on or upgrade from Mete. Compare Mete's stats last year vs PK's, there is an argument that Mete had a comparable if not better season. That says it all in terms of fall from grace.

Also, I think PK wants to be a celebrity, but there's a difference between fame/celebrity and instagram fame/celebrity...but I guess people take what they can get
