Rossi or Drysdale... If both are off the board.. Then Raymond. But I really hope for Rossi. I just wonder if he's too much like Trevor and not enough of a finisher. But the fact he plays hard all the time and has a well rounded game entices me.

It just really falls on what Det does @ 4 .. If they take Raymond then we just need to worry about Ott and if they go 2 F or 1D and 1F... I don't think Ott takes Perfetti @ 5 that's too soon in my mind. I have a bad feeling they go with Rossi.. which leaves us with Drysdale... I got no complaints on that though...

It will depend on who’s selected before but I got a gut feeling it will be Holtz. His Scouting reports (and size) sound more like the type of player the ducks have had on their roster in the past decade than the other forwards likely to still be available

Drysdale or Rossi. Depends which position you value more. I think I’d lean towards the defenseman as the more solid pick here, but Rossi will need less time to develop.

So how quickly are you trying to compete? If you wanna take a few years and cultivate a young core, take Drysdale. If you want scoring and you want it now, Rossi looks like a winner who can compete at an NHL level sooner.

But there’s a solid chance neither will be available.

I have a feeling we go Drysdale at 5 (if still available). Would be a shame to not have Rossi but you cant pass up on the best Dman here.

Zegras and Rossi would be two great back to back picks for you guys

I think if Ottawa gets stutzle at 3, they'll take Rossi at 5 (the more I read about stutzle, the more I think he'll play LW in the NHL instead of C....so they'll need a C)….but if they get Byfield, then I think they'll go with Drysdale, unless the wings took him, then i'd say Raymond

Zegras-Rossi-Henrique down the middle would be frightening.*

*Assuming projected development for the former 2.

Either you being facetious or you really don't know hockey.. I'm giving you benefit of the doubt.

For a team that couldn't find a goalie if they had Dryden / Hasek & Roy on the roster .. your statement is pretty rich.

I wouldn't mind that at all. Although if Drysdale is there @ 6 ... I don't think we can pass on him. He's everything we need on the backend.

That's going to be the dilemma of everyone picking 4-8. There is enough forward talent to justify passing on Drysdale. But I do think that if Drysdale falls, some teams will regret it. The kid's skating is unreal. Right out of NHL '20.

If he falls, Mark my words it will be like Quinn Hughes all over again, except the forwards ahead of him will pan out much better than the ones ahead of Hughes

Henrique is signed through 24/25. He's got such a high hockey IQ, that I'd want him playing 3rd line minutes in his mid-30's (health permitting).

Edit: Sort of like Kopitar.

Edit 2: Signed through 23/24.

Rico does a ton of small things well and led the team in goals, doesn't take bad penalties and is a great teammate. But most importantly he can play the wing pretty well also.

He is one of my favorite non-Kings. He's a fantastic pro.

One of the Swedes please! Drysdale is good, but there are better defensemen in next year's draft class. If they want a scoring winger, the Ducks need to grab one this draft.

If Drysdale isn't there I wouldn't mind the ducks trading down a couple spots if possible and getting holtz a goal scorer that they need, with a shoot first mentality

That’s a pretty bold statement ... who because I don’t follow Jr. That closely ...

All of these guys are great but if he is still there I would take Rossi. Guy is a machine.
