I’m a huge hockey fan/habs fan. I think this season should have been a wash from the beginning of the shutdown. This whole thing is garbage. Whoever wins the cup will always be mocked. And now, whoever gets the #1 pick will also be mocked. This is truly a piss off for all parties involved. Do I think my team should tank, well of course, you’d be an idiot not to. Do I think my team deserves the #1 pick. No I don’t, not one bit. But in all honesty, I’d rather have a generational player than my name being on this bullpoop covid cup.

That’s the difference between a fan that loves the game, or just a bandwagon jumper that plops there arse to the next good team. Like most people from the centre of the universe do.

The LA Kings who finished at the bottom of the league only had a 9% chance of getting the #1 pick. 12.5% doesn't sound too bad. I'm hoping Minn, CBJ or Phoenix gets it.

I just wonder how they will broadcast this to maximize advertising revenue.
