I'm glad to see you are back. I need some Pred News. Telework is a blessing but I'm going crazy without sports and mainly hockey. Less than 2 weeks until training camp and I hate to feel this way but I'm still a bit skeptical that it will actually happen with the current spike in covid cases. Let's keep our fingers crossed that hockey returns and that all involved stay healthy to make it a success.

We all want our hockey back, and sports in general, but we need to have our priorities straight during a crisis like this. If the NHL does go through with the tournament I'll watch of course, and likely enjoy every minute of it, but I also won't be offended if the NHL sacks up and cancels the season outright. As horrible as it would be not to award the cup this season, it would look even worse if the league restarts, and then has to shutdown mid-tournament. I can also predict a nightmare scenario where at least one team gets decimated by covid, and essentially gets eliminated by the virus as opposed to team they're actually playing.
