Vigneault's experience as a coach, and Hayes' experience as a ref, have really benefited this team

As far as the Jack Adams award goes, AV would certainly be a worthy recipient but it's such a tough call particularly considering the shortened season. Being nominated is a testimony to the tremendous positive effect he's had on the team.

On another note... Bill, I just wanted to say thank you for your work here during this virus shutdown. I have to admit, without your work here, I probably would not be paying as much attention to hockey as I still do. Other people here probably feel the same way. I know.. I know.. I'm pumping your tires here, but you absolutely deserve it. Thank you!

100%. I haven't been in the comments anywhere near as much, but I still read the blogs and appreciate them a lot.

Egor Zamula’s statement to the Russian media outlet wnrs.ru:

http://wnrs.ru/informatio...nuyu-podgotovku-k-sezonu/

“I’ve got invited to the main team camp to train for play-offs and right now I am at the team’s skating rink. My understanding is that coaching staff would like to see me on the team and I am getting fully prepared for the season. I work with the defense coaches and individually. I am focusing on my skating and my stick work for about an hour and half a day both on the ice and in the gym. I am trying to regain my form as quickly as possible. After 2 days of practice I feel that my back injury rehabilitation is going well, and I think I will return to playing conditions rather quickly.
I am practicing with Ivan Provorov and others, who had returned to Philadelphia earlier. We are gradually returning to hockey season.”

Thank you, everyone. Appreciate the comments and your continued reads during this long stretch with no hockey.

Nice! Thanks for the link. It makes me smile to think of the team at various rinks getting back to practice in groups now. Has anyone seen a video or photo of Flyers players to share?

I saw on Flyers feed that the analysts have Bergeron winning the Selke. It’s actually pretty crazy how close Coots and Bergeron are in all stats this season. Bergeron might only have the edge due to time missed.
