You’re an idiot. Draisaitl rarely plays with McDavid anymore. Perhaps if you watched games instead of reading graphs and stat sheets you would know this.

I wouldnt say rarely but a good portion of his points this year are sans Mcdavid. He is undoubtedly the MVP this year. There is no argument to be made about that.

This is a farce story right?

First you probably didn’t watch the Coyotes play. Second Hall is and has always been a singular player, doesn’t make other players better. Just straight line speed.

Calling the Majority of writers lazy is ignorant and unprofessional.

He is gone for sure.

Except by Tanner of course. The guy with 16 goals on the year deserves it.

1. If that is true, why can't you just say it? Why do you have to prove I'm superior to you by insulting a total stranger?

2. If that is true, then Draisaitle is playing drastically easier competition despite being one of the league's best players. This should make it a bit easier to come out on top.

3. Turns out Leon's most common line mate was....................................wait for it.......................Connor McDavid. They played together about half the time.

Well actually there is an argument to be made.

His team was not good during 5v5 play, which is 80% of the time.

Yes, he lead the league in scoring, but several players - Matthews, Pasternak, MacKinnon, Panarin and Hellebyuck all have a better case for the Hart.

Basing analysis on points and nothing else is super lazy. Prove me wrong.

I am not in any way saying Taylor Hall should win the Hart Trophy. I am just pointing out that he played at an MVP level. This shouldn't be hard to figure out.

I like how you wrote a blog about how bad the coyotes are and finished it off with a prediction hall will want to re-sign with them.

I guess if you just read the headline, took it the complete wrong way and didn't read any of the post, that this makes sense.

Well I happen to know for a fact that the Coyotes treat their players as good or better than anyone in the league, and that the facilities and town are among the highest standards of living in the NHL.

They also have a nice group of potential stars developing and on the way. With Hall and Keumper they're a good team. Let a few of these guys develop under a new coach and you're laughing.

"They are poorly coached, poorly constructed"

Are you finally admitting that Chayka has done a poor job?

The coyotes do have some solid prospects in hayton and soderstrom but they are likely a few years away from being impactful players.

If Hall was willing to resign based on potential, extension talks would have gotten further in New Jersey than what they did.

I’ll give the yotes a 25% chance maybe more if they make some noise in the playoffs for the reasons you listed but I don’t find it likely that he will resign with a team that was about to miss the playoffs for the 7th year straight when when there are 3 or so teams that are better right now that could make the salary work.

What I am trying to prove you wrong about exactly?

Is it your attitude toward other hockey writers that actually do this for a real job?

Or about points being important?

If it’s points they are the most important Stat besides wins ( well they kinda go hand in hand, need goals to get wins).

As you always say elite players really only matter and guess what elite players do... they get points.

It would do this site a world of good if we removed the openly racist posters from here permanently.

Not true. They should both be playing in the NHL next season (or this season, though cap impact no longer matters) because their best shot at making a real impact in the NHL (since they won't be MVP type superstars) is to help the team while on entry level deals.

Wow! there is tanner's SJW coming out again.

"That guy has a good argument so he must be a racist! I wish I could remove him from my safe space and (frank) free speech and the constitution while im at it too"

Tanner is just another weak mind that has been brainwashed by the crazy left.

Also just so we are clear, the guy said nothing remotely racist. Please live in reality.

I see where you’re coming from in that regard but if I understand what you’re suggesting is that the coyotes use the ELC’s to save money to improve their roster that’s easier said then done.

The coyotes aren’t exactly plentiful with assets to trade for a top line player and would likely need to trade assets to get rid of some of their current cap anchors as well to make it work.

In that case they could go the FA route but what’s available this summer isn’t much better than what the yotes currently have and once again they would likely have to overpay due to lack of recent success.

You’d think eventually you’d realize that no one likes your blogs, no one thinks you’re even halfway close to a good writer, and no one thinks you know anything about hockey. You only like what stats on a piece of paper tell you. You should do everyone a favour and go write about baseball, they’re all about that crap. But insulting the people who do read your blog is a very good look. Keep living in whatever dreamland you call home Tanner. For example, you obviously have a crush on Raanta and Kuemper, whichever one isn’t hurt at the time you write a blog. If they’re so good, and the Coyotes have so much good depth and prospects, how did the Oilers finish ahead of them rolling out Smith and Koskinen and having no depth after the top line? What do your stats say about that?

Who decides who is openly racist and what is the criteria? LOL

You're just proving again that I'm superior to you with your continued insults towards me. By your own proclaimed standard.

I have never once made an openly racist statement on Hockeybuzz for you to insinuate that.
